Welcome to Josephine in the most sought after area in all of Denver - Cherry Creek North. Hotels 1 block south are $600+/night! The most incredible dining in this entire region of the country & shopping @ Cherry Creek Mall won't be beat. Night-life options abound at Little Ollies, Forget Me Not, Cherry Cricket, Quality Italian, Del Frisco's & more! 100mbps internet free for guest use. 1 dedicated free private parking space. Smoke/vape free inside & out. Minutes from Downtown, 30 to Red Rocks. Owner stays in the upstairs separate apartment with her rescue puppy and family and does work from home - we will encounter one another more than likely or hear one another on occasion :-) Please let us know if things are too noisy! We do our best to keep upstairs noise and voices to a minimum after 10p :-) Additionally something to keep in mind, owner's utility room is on the lower level outside the guest apartment. This home was built in the very early 1900's; one of the original homes in Cherry Creek! Old home charms alongside its quirks. Lower ceilings, creaky wood floors, amazing backyard you're welcome to share! I've made lots of updates over the years, however if you're noise sensitive, a light sleeper, etc this may not be the perfect place for you! Price is reflective of all of these things :-) However, I am always available and happy to accommodate guests as best I can at your request.

Nice, centrally placed basement apartment

My wife and I stayed here for two nights. The basement apartment is nicely furnished and well-stocked. The apartment is centrally located, just a few minutes from Cherry Creek, Washington Park, the Botanic Gardens, City Park, the Museum of Nature and Science, and ten or fifteen minutes from the Civic Center, the opera house, and all the nearby venues. The check-in process is really easy, and there is a parking spot in back, so, very convenient. Would definitely go back.

The place was comfortable and clean. It had all the modern conveniences one could want. If you are 6'6, I would caution you as it is a basement suite and I hit my head a few times, but how often is that going to be an issue? The place was great.

Stayed during the midweek two nights August 6 and seventh. A good time to be in a basement during this hot spell! I Would have given four stars, but elected to get five stars because the shortcomings were communicated effectively and clearly. And truly They were pretty minor on the balance sheet, when compared to the clean and functional accommodations, directions to the property, and the walkability of the area. I am 6‘2“ tall and had no difficulties with the low ceiling at the bottom of the stairs. would definitely stay here again.!

My Denver Home away from Home for a few days!

I was in Denver for a friend's wedding at the Botanic Gardens so I wanted to be close to that area (vs. downtown ballparks, etc). It was the perfect location! Everything was as described and Sara was a perfect host! Plenty of space. It is not just a room but truly a little apartment. There is a full kitchen if you want to cook. Keep in mind that it is a basement unit so it doesn't have view windows or a ton of sunlight (transom windows) but there is a nice yard with a gazebo sitting area and the unit is super cozy and quiet. It is walking distance to "Novo Coffee" on 6th and further down is "Pho on 6th" (amazing!). I loved all the brick Craftsman-style homes in the neighborhood. Cheesman Park and the Botanic Gardens are very close by. It is a great place for a walk and Uber was easy to take me everywhere else I needed to go! I will be back! 5 Stars! 10/10! As she described it. Thank you Sara! (P.S. The wedding was amazing. What a beautiful venue!)

Loved the location--easy walking to North Cherry Creek shopping & mall, as well as Cheesman Park in the opposite direction. Clean & equipped with all the basic necessities. My safety concerns have nothing to do with security, but everything to do with mobility issues, especially for oldsters and toddlers. Stair landing is narrow and could pose a problem when navigating with luggage; stairs are somewhat steep (but there is a hand rail). The unit itself is a mixed bag--it is definitely NOT "2-bedroom". The pullout sofa bed in the living area is very uncomfortable and difficult for an older/limited mobility person to get out of. Fine for kids, I suppose. Also the bathroom is so narrow that it's difficult to get up from the toilet. A grab bar would be helpful. And there is a short step down from the tiled kitchen to the carpeted living area that should be well-marked to avoid falls and/or tripping. Night lights would be helpful, too. Never had a glimpse of Sara or any other human, but the little yappy dog welcomed us and dismissed us every time we entered or left the property. We love dogs, and that didn't bother us--it was quiet otherwise. But for those who are nervous about dogs, it might be a problem.
