We had a great stay. We stayed in room 10, a suite, which was perfect for our family. Motel has a private beach which was very nice. My family didn’t even want to go check out other beaches because they liked this one so much. Well situated, close to many restaurants and attractions. About 55 minutes drive to Provincetown for the afternoon. Continental breakfast in the morning was a nice touch, as were the other amenities (grills, firepit, ample seating areas. Overall a wonderful time.

For the price it's hard to compete with this place. Are there more upscale modern hotels on the cape? Of course, but this is a great budget option for those traveling with a family. The staff was wonderful, the breakfast was ready, and the beach was right next to your room. Would recommend!

Petit hotel qui a pour principal (seul?) intérêt d'être sur la plage. Les chambres sont plutot vetustes, propsosent le stricte minimum (pour la cuisine). Nous sommes une famille de 5 (3 enfants) et n'avions visiblement pas fait attention que 2 de nos enfants dormiraient dans un canapé-lit que mon fils (11 ans) et ma fille (13 ans) ont trouvé horriblement inconfortable. De plus, le canapé lit et le refrigerateur (assez vieux tous les deux) faisaient un boucan pas possible nous rendant les nuits difficiles. Et nois n'avons pas eu de chance car nous avions des voisins bruyants, parlant très fort...jusqu'à tard le soir. Le petit déjeuner n'est pas vraiment adapté aux européens (pas de lait pour les enfants, beaucoup de gateaux tres sucrés...). Nous serions pas restés 1 nuit de plus, les 2 que nous y avions passées etaient suffisante.

As advertised. the property was right om the ocean and beach was nice. The staff at the hotel was also very nice. Our room was terrible. It was in a basement area with a half-window facing a parking lot under some stairs and another facing an overgrown wall. No ocean view here.!

Pleasant stay with family.

Booked the Sea Shell Motel last minute for a 4 night stay with 2 adults and 2 kids. The location was fantastic-walked right out the door to the beach. There are lounge chairs on the beach for guest use and staff take the beach daily which is nice. Our room was clean with 2 beds-probably more full size than Queen, so a little smaller than expected but ok for a short stay. We appreciated the small kitchenette (sink, fridge, microwave. Stocked with plates, cups etc and coffee maker). It was also nice to have a little extra sitting room area that was bright and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room Wasn’t cleaned for a couple of days but when I asked, they were quick to take care of it and it turns out we just didnt have the sign on our doorknob to let them know we wanted housekeeping. It looks like some things have been updated recently-the bathroom looked fairly new as did the flooring. The a/c was held together with duct tape so could use some attention although the room temperature was comfortable. The room smelled a little musty on arrival, probably hard to avoid with damp ocean air. There is also a little common area with a portable gazebo, table, fire pit and grill which we didn’t use, but others were using it. We did encounter a very strong smell of marijuana one night. The location is fantastic-easy access to restaurants, beaches and attractions in the mid-Cape area and not too far to drive anywhere.

The most unique thing is pet friendly and on the ocean. We had fog for a day and a half but the ocean breeze and views are really relaxing. We had use of HP parking and managed the two sets of three stairs and ramps to get to second floor with no problem. Thank you for a wonderful property
