"While I was checking to see if there were bed bugs I found that there was 9 condoms in package between the mattress and the box spring. I found no bed bugs. They have lights in the parking lot that light the room up like it is day light. The blinds had broken slats and did not darken the room at all. No continental breakfast."

Our room did have some loose wall covering and the toilet ran multiple times throughout the night… so there are some routine maintenance issues that need to be addressed. "Sunset Lodge was perfect for our 2 nite stay! Staff was amazing and room was spacious and very clean. Comfy beds! Only thing was the traffic right outside made it a little noisy when standing or sitting on the front porch area, BUT it didn't hinder our sleep at all. "The bed was SUPER soft. Welles we got here there was a homeless drunk (the desk clerks words) passed out in the bench just outside the front door. DEFINITELY a turn off. We pulled in thinking that we should cut our losses and find a different motel. But we took the chance. The room was clean, besides the mouse poop behind the chair. The guy who check us in was SUPER NICE! He’s the about the only reason why we did stay. "

I.e. The shower surround does not align with the edge of the tub, the flooring seams are not evenly matched and where the old blue tile was painted over, there are multiple chips. Rooms need some attention to detail. Also, their website said breakfast was Inincluincluded"
