Very pleased with our night stay in Billmar. The only complaint is the lady in the room next to us talking loudly for extended periods of time during the night. (perhaps on the phone). Otherwise, all was good.

The room Was rather disappointing . No knob on bathroom door. Floor appeared to not be vacuum the fridge was gross . The pillows looked to be dirty/stained. Tub/shower appeared to be dirty. For paying what you pay it should be cleaner:(

Disappointing for the price
The room smelled and the cleanliness was sub-par with large stains on the carpet and a streak in the toilet bowl like it had not been scrubbed for days. The bed sheets had stains and the two pillows were as flat as a pancake. When i asked to check out one day early and be re-imbursed, the owner denied my request. I left anyway as i was not going to stay there for a second night.

towels and pillows on bed should were clean, but were so worn out that they should have been replaced years ago. I have thrown rags away that were in better condition than the towels that were in the room.

I definitely did not get the room I initially booked (1 king 1 queen and 1 full size sofa bed). It was still being used. So he gave me another room that will “fit” (1 king and 1 queen). It stunk, used bar soap, not even enough towels. Due to language barrier we didn’t want to deal with anything else.

We paid $100/night for a family size room so I didn’t have high expectations. The room was in the condition I expected. The cleanliness was lower than expected. Dirty toilet, dirty countertops/sink, dirty carpet. The worst was when I opened the sheets— hair, dirt, debris. If you’re looking for a cheap place to sleep it’s just OK, but I’d bring some sleeping bags!

The property appeared to be in good condition. The continental breakfast consisted of toast and dry cereal. Coffee was very watered down. The room was not clean. Found a hair pin in the bed. Paid for 2 queen beds. One drinking cup, no coffee maker, 2 worn out bath towels, 2 hand towels. Plastic mattress cover torn, bed skirt half tucked under mattress. THEN during breakfast we saw the worker/owner sweep up the crumbs on the floor then proceeded to use the same dirty broom to sweep off the TABLE next to us. This room cost us $160 CDN and we would NEVER return to this place.

It was a nice hotel, except the breakfast didn’t have a lot to it of a variety of foods. All that was served was bite size cinnamon rolls, oatmeal rolls, cereal (2 kinds), and cheez it’s. Would have been nice if they had yogurt and boiled eggs. The manager was friendly

G.I Patel was very accommodating. His wife was quick to solve any issues and it was very clean. I would recommend the Bilmar Hotel.

Disgusting
The hotel had a nasty smell through out, half used shampoo bottle, and I don't want to know what the nastiness I found on the curtains was. The beds and pillows are uncomfortable, I'm sure have been there many years. I understand it is not a 5 star hotel, however for $135 I expect clean and semi- decent comfort.

Pretty run down looking. New towels and bath mats, that weren’t stained brown, would be a plus. Breakfast was a terrible setup of cold cereal or Little Debbie type cake. Watched the guy remake coffee by adding water to old coffee in the pot and dumping in fresh water coffee tank.

Reasonably priced, clean, basic hotel, great place to stay in the Sioux Falls area. Very friendly owners. The area is quiet, it located in a small town with good food options and a great walking trail and park.

Language barrier was a real problem!! Called with questions and before I was finished, they hung up. I reserved for 5 people. My daughter and her boyfriend were going to get their own place. He saw 6 people walk in and before i could say anything jumped on me saying I count 6. I was ready to walk away because of his tone. Wish we had!! We had a king, queen and pull out couch. The pull out couch is a joke!! Springs missing, mattress worthless!! Breakfast was a joke!
