CHEATERS!! Hotels.com should REMOVE this hotel!!!
Tavisha hotel is NUMBER ONE CHEATER! If Hotels.com cares for its reputation, them DELIST TAVISHA NOW! We went on the night of 11th December as per our booking, but they had already sold my room and also were impolite. The hotel's premises and rooms are THIRD CLASS and do NOT deserve even 2 stars. I so much did not like this hotel and they CHEATED me by NOT giving me room even though I had paid in advance, that I had to stay with my colleagues and book another room for one of the nights in Delhi at the last minute. I demand FULL REFUND from Hotels.com and they should CLAIM it from Tavisha hotel. By the way, I am not the only one who got this experience, it is also written in one of the guest's feedback on your website!

Hotel staff didn’t know what’s going on they change our room to a different hotel saying its same owners hotel. When we booked the hotel it was confirmed so why they took us in a different hotel??

Tavisha Hotel a nightmare
Check-in was a surprise for the staff, needed long confirmation. Extra roll away bed was not put into room as requested, needed to ask with assertion to get basics right. Staff seemed puzzled as to their duties. Restaurant offerings and service extremely poor. Will not recommend this hotel. Extractor fan in bathroom didn't work. Big safety hazard noted in that a big glass pane which is not safety glass as per safety standards forms part of the division to the outside....a person could easily slip & break this glass with possible catastrophic consequences.

Good Location, but bad choice
There was one towel in the bathroom though I called ahead multiple times to let them know that I am bringing my mother. They could not provide me with names of any airport shuttle services and just said to take Uber though I stated I didn't feel it would be safe at 4 a.m. The bedsheets looked unwashed too.

Neat & Clean with good service
The room was good. Bathroom was neat and clean, though exhaust was not functional yet, which they said are still in process of being made ready in next few days. Food in the restaurant was very good.

One recommended by the Amex traveller's website???
Looks attractive from the inside, floors needed a good mop, condensation build-up and water pooling along the window ledge when we got there! Mould on ceiling in one room. Electricity off from 7:00 pm (good thing we were sleeping from exhaustion from our international flight), resumed around 5:00am?? Noisy on our floor (staff exchanges?) Charged Inr 1800 for a taxi to take us to Nizamuddin station for Agra. Positives: Breakfast excellent and the most comfortable bed and pillows (no allergy probs)!! 2/5

The house keeping department sucks! The TV wasn't working and I called many times for help but no one turned up. On another two instances, I had to get my luggage downstairs and called the reception for help but no one came. The room was dirty, dusty and the bathroom was untidy. The food was not bad. Room service is good.

Great hotel at best location
I had a 2 days stay at this hotel and everything was smooth and comfortable, starting from checkin to checkout. we reached early morning and hotel allowed us to checkin with no additional cost and allowed to checkout also little later than normal checkout time. Staff was good and friendly specially Mr. Rahul S who helped us to to know the best placed around it. Breakfast was excellent and we loved it. this is the best property to stay in regards to location specially for people who come to delhi for visa work. I recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Great service, great food, comfortable room.
My friend and I were in New Delhi for a festival. The staff at Tavisha were fantastic. They were super friendly and helped us with every need we had. They helped us organize a great driver (Mr. Raj) who took us all over town. The room was clean and comfortable. The only downside, which we knew in advance from reviews, was that the hot water was spotty and more like warm. The food at the hotel was delicious. I would definitely stay there again.

Staff at the front desk dont even look at u and never say hi they are so busy with their computers Hotel tried to over charge me for the room they tried to charge more than 100% for the taxes They tried to transfer me to another hotel when i asked to change my room they said they need the room for another guest while i had an advanced booking Insect did not let us sleep specially for the last 2 nights But anyway location is good Room service not bad But overall i was expecting alot more like a good greeting and no insects to bite me at nights

The hotel is horrible. Please do yourself a favor and do not book this hotel.A group of ten of us arrived from US after two days of travel only to find out that our booking had been cancelled. They were citing sudden incident that caused electricity failure due to which they couldn't honor the booking. I later got to know they were overbooked by 29 rooms and all guests were frustrated. The staff were rude and transferred us to an even worse hotel. Please spare yourself the trouble. The pics are deceptive.

It's basic and clean and good value for money if you are on a budget. I found mould on my ceiling and nothing was done about it. Slight dampness in the sheets when I got into bed, but only slight. food very good, especially the evening meals. breakfast ok too and cheap. The only trouble I had was nobody (Taxis Tuk-tuks etc) seemed to know where it was and I had to carry a map with me with a cross on it! Even after that, the map was so small it was hard to read if they had bad eyesight and I needed a magnifying glass to read it! (This was a map I bought outside). Near the hotel there are beggars on the streets including children. Quite upsetting in that respect but that's part of India. Hotel staff are all nice and welcoming. Not the sort of place you can walk about so much because it is dusty and polluted (but I did anyway). The smell of urine greets you at every street corner (presumably since there rae little or no public toilets). The streets are littered with rubbish which is periodically burnt.

Hotel was sufficient. Needed a place to stay overnight for a connecting flight to Lucknow. I hailed a taxi there for 780 rupees but hailing a taxi through the hotel cost 1100 rupees (probably because no taxis are hanging out around there). 45 mins away from airport in traffic.

Great Hotel with Awesome Rooms
The hotel was elegant and comfortable, and the staff was friendly, extremely attentive and helpful. I'm not sure how it compares to other luxury hotels, but it felt very comfortable and luxurious to me. At arrival we were offered some delicious juice, the beds were comfortable, nice clean bathrooms equipped with all the toiletries you will need, good A.C., friendly staff, etc. Really, it had everything you need to feel 100% at ease. The neighborhood was quiet.The staff provides an array of services to make your vacation experience entirely seamless such as taxi services and tours. The food was good too! I only tried the breakfast but the other meals in the menu seemed delicious too! I had the opportunity to try real Indian food without getting sick from anything so that's definitely a plus! Overall, I have no complaints! I will definitely recommend this place to anyone and I'll gladly stay here again if I return to Delhi.

I had called the hotel few days before arrival and asked them to send a taxi to pick me up but nobody showed up. The hotel is quite small and the A/C in the room was not working, it was noisy and I could not even sleep properly. I booked the hotel for two nights but stayed there for only one night.

Good value for money
The hotel was pretty good for the price and area of Delhi. The service was not great, but in line with other hotels in the area. You have to ask a few times for simple things to happen sometimes, but overall it's good. It's safe and easy to get around from there, being just off a main road. We were not impressed with their support with transportation - for example we asked for a cab to a market in downtown Delhi and they wanted 1,200 rupees. We grabbed a rikshaw from the street for 80 rupees. We understand they want to make a profit, but a x15 markup is just a joke. They also got angry when asked to call a metred cab for the airport. They did it for us in the end, grumbling. If you don't mind a small fight every time you want something, it's alright. The wifi works well in the lobby! The restaurant food is pretty good.

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. Hotel staff was very good but they have to manage an old facility which is very hard. Prashant, the manager went out of his way to get things done but he could do only so much. Some of things are easy to fix but are not fixed. For example, the hole in the door, slow drainage in the bathrooms, wifi only available on one floor, and out of order light bulbs etc. We got 3 rooms which were supposed to be non-smoking but all were smelling bad with cigarette smoke. Prashant was really good in changing our room twice to make sure we had internet access. Food was average.

The staff was wonderful, accommodating and kind.
There were some language challenges with the staff, although there are always a few staff members who were fluent English speakers. Once or twice I tried to ask for something in a moment that there was not an as fluent speaker at the desk. Still, no complaints. Breakfast was DELISH - a mix of local and international cuisine - in addition to Indian treats, I enjoyed muffins, french toast and omelets, made right in front of you. Our breakfast wasnt included, but the all you can eat buffet was only 300 rupees - ($5) - an AMAZING deal! The kitchen was open 24 hours a day, which made eating easy, even on travel days, when we were up at all hours. The hotel has a rooftop terrace, sauna, masseuse, exercise room... everything you could need.

Comfortable and pleasant stay
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. Only the access in front of the hotel was slightly congested with less parking space. It is understandable because the it is located in close proximity to downtown. We had difficulty with Wifi but the staff helped us and ensured that we get the Wifi. I think the management has to invest more in hardwares for Wifi/upgrade their connectivity.

OK for just a short stay
The hotel was near what I wanted to visit and the staff were friendly enough. They even packed breakfast to go as I was leaving for an very early internal flight. However, the cleanliness in the hotel was not great and the neighborhood was quite noisy. It is adequate if you're in Delhi just for a short visit.

Our start was not good with the hotel charging us 1500 INR for picking us up from Delhi station!!. We found out later how expensive was that. Then the bathroom was dirty (floor and walls). We found a old pillow below the bedroom full of dust!. Internet did not work in our floor. Other floors' internet worked occasionally and very slow. At the end of the stay they fixed internet at the reception but not at our floor. On the other hand the breakfast was pretty good and the staff on the reception and kitchen was very kind.

The stay at Tavisha was comfortable. The hotel staff was friendly and cooperative. Rooms were clean, well equipped, comfortable with good room assistance and service. The internet via wifi however does need improvement in terms of signal quality as coverage was not seamless in all parts of room.
