"The best part of this property is outside. The yard, fully fenced, is perfect for our dog and grandkids. Corn hole tournaments, hot tub conversations, we even pitched a tent one night. The only thing missing were lounge chairs, we like to lay down outside and we couldn’t do that so it was a draw back. The inside is fine, good kitchen, great washer and dryer. Unfortunately the water pressure in the bathrooms is low and the one walk in shower could use an upgrade. The bedrooms are fine but could use a few more blankets. Also, it could sleep eight easily if you have three couples but if you bring single friends that don’t share a bed you may have issues. Just count the people then count the beds. As with most vacation rentals there needs to be a printed instruction sheet on how to use the TVs. So many remotes so little time. All in all a good stay. We’ve been coming to Gearhart since 1981. We’ll be back."

"A unique rental with a mother-in-law suite allowing extra privacy for one couple. Very clean and great beds for sleeping well. Bathroom towels good and generous amount. Bathtub/shower floor could use a rubber mat for safety. Shower water very generous! Kitchen was adequate although we ate out most meals. Some nicks and scratches and wobbly chairs to be expected in an older property. Hallways skirt the perimeter of the house on two sides with all windows floor to ceiling - interesting but one cannot wander in undies here. Bedrooms in main house also have floor to ceiling windows with venetian blinds. Outer hallway windows have no blinds so there is some feeling of lack of privacy even with bedroom venetian blinds down. Stairs in both buildings - not easy for disabled, I would think. Grounds were lovely with bushes and trees, walking paths and pass throughs. A quiet neighborhood when we were there. Fun to walk the area, close to bay and a fairly short walk to beach."

"The property was easy to find and accessible. However, the property had no basic toilet emenities at all. There was no soap or soap bar in any of the bathrooms nor at the kitchen sink. We had to call in to get it at the property.Moreover, they do not provide any bathing things like shampoo, body or conditioner, you need to bring all those stuff and also they have a coffee machine but do not have any tea or coffee packets. These are the basic things which any house provides so we were a bit disappointed as we did not carry it. Also note the beach is almost 0.25 mi away from the property which is not mentioned and from the pics it looks like its on the beach beach but its not.Overall, we had a decent experience but however it can be much better."
