"This property is a show stopper! When our friends arrived at the house they couldn't believe this was our home for the weekend. The house was immaculate. 7 bedrooms with king beds and ALL the bathrooms made this booking a no brainer. The listing pictures are great but the house itself is even better. All our friends commented on how comfortable the beds were. The hot tub was put to good use in the snow! The hosts were responsive and even came out to plow our driveway after we got 6 inches of snow. All our friends are already planning our next stay here!"

"The layout of the home was fantastic for a family gathering...a multi generational family as there was activity for all in an open space plan. The location was ideal to get to attractions around the area. Our only complaint was the lack of minor things like bath soap, shampoo and a scrubber for dishes. "

"This historic home is very interesting and gave us a lot of space to spread out and spend time together. It is in walking distance to many things in town. It is a beautiful home. "

"The home was well kept and clean with great access to the lake. My issues are the fact that the selling point was the fireplace, hot tub, and canoeing. The wood was damp so I had to go forage for dry wood and eventually purchase wood. There was no access to paddles or life vests to canoe, and the hot tub was 70 degrees. There were no directions as to how to increase the temperature. I contacted maintenance andThey promptly came to show me hot to increase temp. When he arrive the temperature was 69 degrees. He set it to the highest setting 104 and said that the tempt would rise 5degrees per hour. 3 hours later and the temp was 71 degrees. Prior to me checking out the following morning and closing up the jacuzzi, the temperature was 80. Not having the jacuzzi working properly and not having access to canoeing was very disappointing! I would love to have partial refund to rectify my disappointment for these property amenities. "

"We had a great time at this place. Though the cleanliness was not great and overall condition of the house was poor. You can tell the owners have put any money into maintaining the house both on the exterior and interior. The main level bathroom shower only worked for the bath tub, not the shower head, there was blood on the sheets in the master bedroom and the hot tub is very old and most of the jets are brown. For our group of high school friends it was fun but definitely would not bring my family here. "
