"Perfect location- close to hiking, pizza, and ice cream but privatly nestled into the woods. The house was very comfortable and the spiral staircase was so charming. The hot tub was, by far, the nicest and best of any place I have rented. We are already talking about coming back to this area and will 100% see if this house is available when we do. The host was fantastic- we had 1 very minor glitch with the porch light and she responded immediately and got it working."

"House was very reasonably priced for a week stay. Check in and check out was a breeze. Conveniently located between Deep Creek and Oakland. Not sure how well the listing depicts it, but the back yard is basically the side of hill. It’s fully enclosed, which is great if you have pets but if you have kids and want to play yard games, it’s pretty much impossible to do because of the slope. Outdoor hot tub was easily accessible and fully functional. House is full of games and consoles and videos. No shortage of things to do or watch. Bedrooms are nicely arranged with TV’s in all rooms and the bathrooms, showers and whirlpool bathtubs are very modernized. The kitchen does need a little work. One of the gas eyelets was non functional on the stove as well as the ice maker in the fridge. I’ve had to be made by hand with trays. All of the shelves / holders were also missing from the refrigerator door which made storage a little difficult. If you’re only staying for a couple of days, not that big of an issue. But if you’re staying a week with 10 people, the lack of refrigerator space is really inconvenient. There is a mini-fridge in the basement but, again, it’s an issue of convenience.Overall, our experience was very positive and, given how reasonable the price was, we would stay there again."
