Welcome to Ohana Hut! Where you can enjoy the serenity and unhurried lifestyle of privacy, relaxation, and the long-awaited break that you deserve. The ideal nature hideaway set on a 46-acre property with dense woods to go for a scenic walk and indigenous wildlife to keep you company on your journey.
Drive through Deepwater National Park, wade through golden sand beaches like Agnes Waters Main Beach, and visit nearby towns such as Bundaberg, and Baffle Creek.
The Space:
Ohana Hut is perched on top of a bluff, looking down into the open space, with trees strewn about. Nestled in the coastal national park of Deepwater, this tiny house is close to the stunning coastal towns of Agnes Water and Moore Park Beach, known for their golden beaches, surfing, and occasional turtle nesting sites—if you can find them.
A cozy 155-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. The bathroom follows ecologically sustainable principles, including a cassette toilet with a removable waste-holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas-heated for hot showers) for you to use.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny house and its surroundings. Guests can also join the hosts in the bush kitchen, where they can enjoy a cider, play pool, or simply relax.
The Neighborhood:
Ohana Hut sits in the coastal town of Deepwater, Gladstone Region. Where you can explore pristine beaches, national parks, little towns, and other exciting attractions. The perfect farm stay QLD getaway is close to surrounding towns such as Baffle Creek is 10 minutes away, and Bundaberg is just an hour's drive from the property.
Our local recommendations:
- Wreck Rock Café in Baffle Creek offers homemade meals from burgers to pizzas, pies, cold beer, and coffee.
- Moore Park Beach offers 20 kilometers of pristine shoreline. The northern end is ideal for Four Wheel Driving, while the southern end is popular for swimming.
- Deepwater National Park is a coastal national park dedicated to preserving dunes, coastal heaths, and other natural wonders. Just a 15 min drive from Ohana Hut, with easy access to 4WD.
- The Rustic Farmhouse Cafe at Oyster is a lovely rustic café on a farm, with fresh produce, toasties, coffee, sandwiches, delicious cakes, and pastries. Opens from 9AM- 4PM from Sat to Tues.
- Rules Beach is the only beach left on the Discovery Coast with easy access to 4WD and the way to reach the mouth of Broadwater creek. It is also a dog-friendly beach and is 20 min from Ohana Hut.
- Baffle Creek is one of Queensland's few remaining undisturbed coastal rivers and is world-renowned for its fishing, and tributaries of the Baffle Creek River System provide ample fishing, boating, and canoeing.
- The Paperbark Forest Boardwalk in Agnes is designed with stepping stones and boardwalk planks to help visitors wind their way through the wetlands. It is a short 20-minute walk through some beautiful wetland scenery.
- Agnes Water is a beautiful little seaside town with beaches great for surfing, snorkeling, and other water sports. There you'll also find restaurants/cafes and a little shopping centre where you can stock up on essentials and groceries.

By public transport: We recommend guests to travel by private car or v-hire to reach the property. Thank you.
Other Things to Note:
- No smoking allowed on the property
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- Don't forget to lock the windows and doors when leaving the tiny house
- Make sure to turn off the lights, air conditioning, and electronics (e.g., especially chargers)
- Please note that this is a PET-FRIENDLY property, and pet policies will be sent prior to arrival
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge

- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property
- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- In order to maintain the cleanliness and functionality of our cassette toilets a minimum additional cleaning fee is applied for stays of 5 nights or more. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring a hygienic experience during your stay.
