"House has a lot of deck levels and outbuildings. The stone showers were a first! The sauna was great and the deck views were wonderful. Had an issue with the hot tub in removing the soft cover and leaves getting into the hot tub. The owners and manager responded within literally minutes. They sent someone over right away and it was cleaned by the time that we returned to the house an hour later. The fireplaces and the firepit on the deck were wonderful when the temps got down into the 40s....

"I absolutely loved my stay. The property manager was communicative and so kind and the place was exactly what I was looking for. I loved the outdoor spaces as much as the indoor. It was so nice to sit back on the porch to relax, read a book, and listen to the stream. I also enjoyed the proximity to town and some of the sites I wanted to explore. Definitely will plan to be back someday!"

"Beautiful location and off the beaten path. Take whatever you want to eat for the stay, cabin has well stocked kitchen. Fishing was so so for the first few days, then it was stocked the last day which improved the fishing. We were catch and released so there should be some for the next guy. Would go back"

"Overall we enjoyed our week-long stay. The cabin was extremely clean upon arrival. Nice and cozy. Loved the fireplace, especially when getting up in the mornings. The hot tub was a disappointment. The water temperature was hot but the jets didn't work very well and we were told there was no filter. We only used it once but would have done so much more if it was in good working condition. We had a problem with the combination lock, evidently it malfunctioned on our first day there. The problem...

"Cute cozy cabin with everything you need. Make sure you have everything food wise when you arrive, closest store is 40 minutes away. Many spots to swim and fish down the road to walk or couple minutes drive. Me and my kids enjoyed it, nobody wanted to leave. You can tube up and down the creek. Cough some trout and grilled it, was the best. If you plan any trips to Grandfather mountain or zip lining, make it a day trip. I did my gps in before I left the house, so directions worked the whole way...

"We were absolutely amazed at how beautiful everything was from the log cabin,to the stream outside.was very happy finding a waterfall down from the property..all in all our stay was excellent. We will definitely be back next year for anniversary number 2."

"My huaband enjoyed every minute of hiking with our Labrador. The cabin was cozy and the views were fantastic. We will be back! There were a lot of ticks on the trails (nothing to do with the property), so anyone bringing a dog, make sure they are protected with something. The deck that goes around the cabin is amazing! You can be out even if its raining. The host answered all of our questions within minutes! Highly recommend!"

"We enjoyed our stay. The house was nice and comfortable but the outside was not clean. The backyard needed mowing and sprucing up. The outdoor furniture was dirty. We were able to wipe down the main level porch and enjoyed it."

"This was a wonderful place to stay during our vacation. The cabin was very comfortable and we especially enjoyed the outdoor spaces around the cabin. The kitchen was well stocked so cooking was easy. Great, location, too! The cabin is in a quiet, rural setting and it was an easy drive to nearby attractions, as well. We would return in a heartbeat!"

"If you love peace and quiet, this cabin will be your happy spot. It's out of the way with its private slice of babbling creek, lush ferns, mosses, rocks, and birds. Very well appointed, clean as a whistle, and all wrapped in a wonderful porch. We ate lunch along the way at quaint 'Almost on the Lake' and did a simple pasta dinner and oatmeal breakfast for our one-day stay. If you have a novel or jigsaw puzzle you want to finish, there couldn't be a better spot. I can see bringing my grands back...
