We all loved it and can’t wait to plan another trip to the area. The property was exceptionally clean and adorable, close to downtown so we did a lot of walking, shopping and eating. The place felt like home and owners were great, exceeded all expectations!

We loved staying here! I rented the home with 4 friends who had gathered for our 30th college reunion. Check-in and check-out was amazingly easy and the location is prime…short walking distance to all the cute downtown shops and restaurants. Would absolutely stay here again on a future trip!

Couldn't have asked for a better first-time stay in Decorah, especially for three families with small kids. Great central location and the room layouts along with the thoughtful touches from the hosts made it feel like home. Highly recommended!

Dolly’s was the perfect place for my family together, all from different areas. The house is beautiful, with the front porch to drink coffee on and the back patio with a lot of room for people to hang out on. Location is perfect for every place. You would want to go in Decorah. We loved our stay, and will be back!

Wonderful home for large family. Comfortable and clean. Much attention to amenities for guests. Close to many shops. Beautifully decorated for Christmas on our visit.

Dolly's place had everything we wanted for a family weekend in Decorah. Walking distance of downtown, plenty of space, all the amenities, etc. Our day usually started and finished on the wonderful front porch talking with friends and family. Bruce was great and would definitely stay there again.

Dolly's Place was perfect for a family weekend in Decorah (6 adults and 3 kids ages 2-4)! The house was very clean and well stocked. Plenty of parking on site. Just a few blocks from Water street (shopping and restaurants). Easy access to local breweries and entertainment. Bruce and Kaleen were very gracious and helpful hosts (local recommendations and very prompt responses). We will definitely stay here again and recommend Dolly's place without hesitation!

Dolly's Place was absolutely perfect for our family as we celebrated the wedding of our daughter Alex to Oket, her Luther College love. We were able to get ready for the big event and then relax afterwards in the comfort of Dolly's Place. The house is so cute and so comfortable!! You feel like you are at Grandma' s house all over again! We were able host a post wedding day brunch and the dining room, living room and porch were alive with love and laughter as I am sure Dolly would have loved!! Have stayed in houses before. This is the first one that didn’t have a laundry list of jobs that had to be done before we left. Didn’t even have to strip the beds or wash the dishes or towels! Home was clean and definitely comfortable. Very happy!

Dolly's place was a great home to host family for our daughter's graduation from Luther College. We had the grandma's with us, so the first floor bedroom and bathroom worked really well for one that has trouble with steps. House was beautiful and had everything we needed. We were able to walk downtown for coffee Saturday morning and a little shopping. We have fallen in love with Decorah over the last few years. We will definitely return to Decorah and Dolly's Place in the future!

We had mulit-family gathering here and it was perfect. We really appreciated their flexibility in check-in/check-out time. The location was ideal! It's just short walk to downtown, a few blocks to get on the bike trails, there is a really nice basketball court and playground just down the street. The neighborhood felt really safe and was quiet. We loved all the 'usable' spaces for gathering at the house: 2 sitting areas on front porch, good size dining room table, family room and nice back deck w/table for dining. I cooked a few meals and found the kitchen to be really well appointed. I would HIGLY recommend this place to anyone!

Dolly's Place was the perfect home for our family vacation in Decorah. The location of the house is ideal as we could walk to shops, restaurants, coffee shops, bars, a movie theater, and a playground. The house was beautiful, clean, and comfortable with all the amenities of home.
