Deanwood Hotels, Washington

"Easy check in. Valet was convenient but expensive. I did know that ahead of time so it was not unexpected. Room was nice. Smelled like brand new carpet. Only dining issues were that breakfast can not be delivered, it is pick up only. In room dining was not open late enough for us. We wanted food at 11:30 pm and it was no longer open. Still a very nice hotel, great location, walking distance to museums, dining and Capital One arena. Found great coffee shop and dinner restaurant close by"

"This property is located in a wonderful area, with many great amenities surrounding it. The hotel lobby is very well decorated and features a bar and a breakfast buffet. ($25/person) The staff was friendly, and did their best to make are stay comfortable. We had a few hiccups with keeping towels & toilet paper stocked, but called front desk and had it resolved. "

"Nice clean room with a balcony overlooking the pool. Staff was helpful. Breakfast is not complimentary but above average. Overall a pleasant stay."

"Our trouble started when we went to our room. The door would not open. I had to use my body to get the door open since we were in we agreed to wait til morning to report the problem. We turned the heat on as it was cool in the room, got ready for bed and then the heater started making a banging noise. Needless to say we did not sleep well. The next morning we reported the problems, were told someone would fix them and off we went. Upon return we were happy to see that the door opened much easier, only a little push, the heater how ever still made a noise. I went to the frunt desk to get blankets and to again report the problem with the heater. I was assured someone would be up to look at it. That never happened. The blankets came in handy. The next morning I went to get coffee, came back to the room and had to bust down the door again. Needless to say I was glad we were leaving. The staff was very friendly and helpful despite consistent long lines at the check n counter. "
