"Excellent views from the front facing rooms and easy walk to town. Fun decor throughout. Like many historic buildings it’s a bit creaky and noisy but they have earplugs. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at Taawaki Inn. The location is perfect — close to the Verde Canyon Railroad, Jerome, and Cottonwood — which made exploring the area so easy. The hotel itself was clean, modern, and well-kept, with great amenities and friendly staff. I especially loved the mountain views and the comfortable lounge chairs out back, perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing.
We booked a King Room which was spacious. It had a mini fridge, microwave, k-cup machine with a variety of drink selections and a flat screen TV. I would have loved to watch Netflix or something other than DirectTV but it seems like it's not something they offer.
Breakfast was a highlight, with fresh options like eggs, blueberry muffins and orange juice. Everything felt thoughtful and well-prepared. No pre-packaged pastries or cereal which we were glad for.
Overall, I highly recommend Taawaki Inn for anyone visiting the area — it’s a great blend of comfort, convenience, and beautiful scenery!

"The staff members were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. For breakfast there was warm food, cereals, fruit, etc. There is free parking at the property. It is easy to get to restaurants from the hotel. Things to remember: if you have a downstairs room, the window overlooks the parking spots. If you have room next to the ice-maker, you will hear it working at night. The surrounding of the hotel is not filled with trees. "
"Everything was great. The lodge was cozy and homey, quiet neighborhood, hosts were kind and responsive. It was great location to walk down to downtown Cottonwood. Will reserve again in the near future. "
"Always a great stay on Main Street. The loft was in immaculate shape. Communication with Patty and Michael is always consistent. My wife and I always like to stay here in the fall and will always book this loft as it is always a great experience!!"
"We really appreciated all of the attention to detail at the Post Mistress House - very 7nviting and interesting as we learned more about the history. Everything was very clean. The kitchen had all of the essentials and creature comforts. We loved the huge showers in each bathroom. The beds are amazing, so much so we had to ask what brand they are. The hosts were visiting next door and were so friendly. Steve and Denise gave us a tour of thier neighboring rentals. Very special Cottonwood history in good hands. We will be back!"
"Absolutely darling little bungalow! We came here for a romantic weekend getaway and this was so perfect. Clean, beautiful historic property, super comfortable bed and awesome rain head shower! Very close walkable distance to Main Street shops and restaurants too. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it. "
