Perfect Home for a Cottonwood Getaway

We had an amazing time at this property. Walking distance to Old Town and a short drive from everything there is to offer. The house has many historical elements which was very fun to read about. The house is freshly renovated, was spotless, and had everything we ever could have asked for. I would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Cottonwood!

Lovely stay in Cottonwood

This adorable home was comfortable, very clean, and had everything we needed for a great stay. We loved the historical information provided on the home and its antiques! The less than a 5 minute walk to cute shops, great food (including Sedonuts) was perfect after the more extensive crowds and traffic of Sedona. Cultural Park Trailhead is just 15 minutes away for a gorgeous sunset view!

Charming historic property

Had a lovely time staying at this beautifully renovated historic home 2 blocks from downtown Cottonwood. We walked to restaurants and shops, and had every amenity we needed (no dishwasher, but that was a minor issue for us). Would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend to others.

Wonderful escape from Tucson with my brother to see the area! Great Spot! walked to town for dinner and after entertainment bth nights! so much better than anticipated and will come back! We really appreciated all of the attention to detail at the Post Mistress House - very 7nviting and interesting as we learned more about the history. Everything was very clean. The kitchen had all of the essentials and creature comforts. We loved the huge showers in each bathroom. The beds are amazing, so much so we had to ask what brand they are. The hosts were visiting next door and were so friendly. Steve and Denise gave us a tour of thier neighboring rentals. Very special Cottonwood history in good hands.We will be back!

Cottonwood adventure

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful historic home. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Perfect for two couples. The king beds were very comfortable and so nice to each have our own bathrooms. Met the host, and she was awesome. Would recommend this property for anyone wanting to have a great time in Old Town Cottonwood. Everything in walking distance.

Best of Cottonwood

I hate to give secrets away, but this little house has got to be one of the best places Patty and I have ever stayed at. Super clean and has everything you would want for a get away. Close to all our favorite places in downtown Cottonwood and the house has "ton's" of history that is well presented in the guest book. Will be back very soon.

Perfect little getaway for 2 couples.

We loved it. We enjoyed our mornings on the front porch and also was able to sit out back and enjoy the fire pit. There were so many little added comforts to enjoy. Blankets on the front porch for cool mornings and everything you need in the kitchen. The hosts were awesome to work with.

Perfect in everyway

We visited Cottonwood for a weekend to visit Jerome, Cottonwood and Sedona. The location was absolutely perfect. In our downtime we were able to walk to Main Street. The home is spotless and very comfortable. The attention to detail in the decor and the preservation of history was a delight. Even peeking out the window to see a wagon full of flowers. We enjoyed learning the history of the home and the area. Steve and Denise are available if needed, and so kind. We all can’t wait to return!

Amazing house with great location

My husband and I and my sister and her husband made a trip to Cottonwood for my husbands 50th birthday. We wanted walking distance to downtown historic Cottonwood to check out all the wine taking and cool shops. The Post Mistress house was perfect. It was a block away from restaurants, shops and wine tasting. It was perfect for the 4 of us. It was updated, we had 2 comfortable king sized beds and all the items we needed for our stay. Communication with the owners was prompt. They also realized we were on vacation and did not ask for us to strip the beds, wash towels etc. I would give this a rating of 10 if I could. I recommend this house and will be staying again.

Charming house

We stayed in old town Cottonwood for a week and really enjoyed ourselves. The place is spotless, well appointed and comfortable. We enjoyed the outdoor amenities-corn hole equipment & grill. However the best amenity was the delightful front porch with rocking chairs and a porch swing where we enjoyed our morning coffee and an evening cocktail. The only drawback to our stay was the neighborhood. The homeless mission is at the end of the block and the traffic to and from it was considerable. It seems the neighborhood is in transition as there is another short term rental across the street. That being said, we never felt unsafe & we walked all over old town. Old town Cottonwood has lots to offer and this is a great spot to take it all in.
