"No internet, no breakfast, room needed a deep clean as there were pill capsules and lash strips and trash behind nightstand. It was rare to get fresh bath towels without going to front desk. Water doesn’t get very warm but front desk says it’s because they run the entire building off one water heater. Tv was very slow with limited channels. Very limited parking, make you pay for parking and if the lot is full you have to park across the street in the overflow lot which was tough with traffic and luggage. A lot of pool chairs were torn and unusable. BUT— GREAT VIEWS. Beach access was great. Pool was warm. Staff was welcoming. About a mile and a half from the pier and board walk. If it weren’t for the view or the kind staff I would rate a 1/5."

"The Lakeside Inn was a charming hotel. It was great for a one night getaway to relax. There are plenty of places to eat on site or a short walk away. Many activities are offered on site and it was a pleasure sitting on the porch in the rocking chairs watching the sunset!"

"The shower didn’t work annd was broken. Even after I told the front desk nobody came to fix it. The whole hotel smelled like marijuana and cigarettes even though it said no smoking. People around me in adjacent rooms were arguing and screaming. I told the front desk clerk twice and nothing was done. My fire alarm went off in the middle of the night and I had to get up and tell the desk clerk and he had to come down the room and fix it. The breakfast Buffett was total mayhem with kids and adults both making messes everywhere and not cleaning up after themselves. Everyone was in hair bonnets, pajamas, and house shoes. This place is as Ghetto as it gets! Avoid at all cost."
