The Shores Resort & Spa
10/10 Excellent
"We loved the room; it was ocean view and had a nice balcony on the 4th floor. It took me about 4 coffee pods to figure out how to work the coffee maker; I asked the front desk and they said 'it's just like a Keurig' .... which I do not own. Coffee is very important to me! I suggest having a postcard with instructions for use on the in room coffee maker. The toilet was very loose from the floor and sounded like it would take off every time we used it. We took the $15 credit for foregoing housekeeping thinking this would be applied to our parking and/or resort fees but were told 'you have to purchase something within the facility' which was a little disappointing. I checked out the restaurant menu; but I am gluten free and cannot eat pork or chocolate and options were VERY limited and price was VERY expensive. Free breakfast would be very nice! Parking is VERY expensive and we had to park across the street. Please make this more affordable! We would go back because we loved the beach and the oceanview room!"
"Excellent in every way! This hotel saved us from the abysmal one down the road (will be kind and not mention any names, they are renovating! Unknown upon booking!) Needless to say we will be returning to this wonderful hotel. Great staff!"
"Hotel was amazing! Staff up front was amazing! The only downside is if you want a drink from the bar or food from the hotel the service isn’t the best. "
"Very friendly staff and great hotel. Only bad thing…tiki bar is not open and the fire places are only during certain times of the year. Seeing the picture on the website made that little misleading. "
"The parking was limited and due to Hurricane Milton the onsite beach access was blocked off but the public access was literally right next door. The ocean front view was EVERYTHING! "
"Staff was amazing, it was really clean, the pool area was great and it’s right off the ocean!! It is definitely ran down; but if you are in Florida and that close to the ocean you are just sleeping in your room anyways and clean is what matters and that it was!!!"
