"Best part of this hotel was the ocean view. Check in was late and front desk kept saying it was housekeepings fault, got a room went up and the floor was wet and had to get a different room, elevator was broken so only one working and it took forever to get up and down from 8th floor, steps to beach closed even tho it looks like an easy fix."

"Usually great, but some unexpected minor changes were a little disappointing. They used to have a nice little coffee/tea bar area in the lobby. There was no tea and only that gross powder creamer in a canister. (They used to have a great tea selection and several coffemate or international single serve creamers-maybe they were just out?) Anyway starbucks is across the street, we just ran out quick and all was well. Also, some guy on the cleaning staff was standing in front of the elevator vacuuming when I was trying to exit with arms and shoulders loaded with heavy bags and items... He literally could not care less that he was standing in my way as I was trying to exit the elevator and I could have tripped on his vacuum cleaner cord as I shimmied by with all my bags. SMH. They used to have amazing staff all around. Front desk, maintenance, housekeeping, etc. I don't know who that guy was but he brought the 5 stars down. Also it looks like they are transitioning out of the old green deck loungers to new orange ones. Not a big deal but it wasn't a great look for the property."

"Nice clean room, very nice people. Tv reception not great. Air conditioner very old. Great beach location and a great little coffee shop across the street. 5 miles from the main part of Daytona strip"

"Don't be fooled by the pictures online. This place looks nothing like the pictures. They really need to just demolish and rebuild it. Even though the floors in our room looked clean, they were actually very dirty. The rest of the room was ok, but still a disappointment after seeing the pictures they post online. Just be aware that it really is not a nice place. Would I ever stay there again, NO!!!!!"

"Great oceanfront property. Staff was always pleasant and very helpful. I can't say anything bad about the place other than there is nowhere to eat or drink in the area or in the hotel. The restaurant was closed the majority of the time we stayed there. Other than that it was a nice stay. Rooms were big and clean. Balcony over the pool and oceanviews. "
