We really enjoyed our stay at The Salty Mermaid! The location was great, especially being so close to the beach. The room was comfortable and clean, and the property had a nice, relaxed beach atmosphere. The staff was friendly and helpful, and parking was convenient. We also loved being able to walk around and enjoy everything New Smyrna Beach has to offer. Overall, it was a very enjoyable getaway, and we would definitely consider staying here again!

We enjoyed our stay at the Salty Mermaid very much. The room was clean and comfortable and Lisa and staff were so helpful with anything we asked. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quaint place right on the beach and walking distance to restaurants and shops. It’s at the top of our list for a getaway to the beach.

The room was very clean. The bed was so uncomfortable , glad we only stayed one night. There was a hose right outside our room that a lot of people were using so we had to close our blinds! Our mistake coming on a holiday weekend. Otherwise it’s pretty much right on the beach and there are beach chairs available to use. The coffee pot did not work. Parking was extremely tight!

The accommodations were tastefully decorated and comfortable. The staff took time to contact us the day of arrival with checkin instructions, and even asked if we would like ice in the room upon arrival. Great patio areas and beach access, and was in walking distance to the Flagler Ave. entertainment area. Overall a cool little retro hotel to visit!

Great location on the beach and walkable to restaurants and shops. The room itself is cute but the bathrooms small and no place to put anything, we had to set our bathroom bag on the table outside the bathroom. No handy place to charge devices.
