The hotel needs to be renovated on the outside of the building! Paint is chipping off the balconies and there’s lots of visible rust. In other words, it’s eroding due to the salt. Also the fences are chipping and have been for the past 2 years. Our ocean front room was very nice and spacious! View was amazing!!!

We were really excited to finally stay here. The view and location were fantastic, but unfortunately the condition of our room really impacted the stay. From the time we arrived, there was a very noticeable musty/mildew smell in the room. It was late, so rather than asking to move rooms, we assumed the smell would dissipate. Unfortunately, it never did, and by the end of our stay the odor was strong enough that we both felt nauseous. We also noticed what appeared to be moisture-related issues and visible exterior maintenance concerns, including sections of siding missing around some of the balconies. I completely understand that maintaining an oceanfront property presents challenges, but I expected considerably more from a Marriott-branded hotel. The location and view are excellent, but the room did not provide the comfortable environment we expected. Hopefully management addresses the moisture, odor and maintenance issues because the property otherwise has a lot going for it.
