Location to ocean was a 10 plus. The hotel is very old and paint peeling off the walls in room everywhere. There were no hand towels and bath towels were very old. Paint would help the room and update furniture and towels. Parking lot could use some updates. Location is awesome for beach lovers!

Do not expect any level of luxury here. My stay was a one night stay over after watching the Daytona 400 Nascar race. So it wasn't a true beach getaway vacation. If it was, I would have been pretty turned off. The building is old and the repair/ remodel work in the rooms and especially the bathroom were beyond pathetic. The main thing this place has going for it is the beach! If you're looking for a one night stop off, fine. Just don't expect to stay a week and enjoy your stay.

The motel has been around for many years and it definitely shows but if it was given some tlc like new paint and paying more attention to how the rooms are being cleaned and maintained would help greatly. Directly across from the beach, pizza place right next door, walking distance to shops.

Cute little old school motel with updates. Great location with the ocean directly across the street and walking distance to a number of local restaurants and bars. While 4 out of 5 stars is rated as "good," I'd rate it as very good. Our room was comfortable and enjoyed the decorative updates inside the room and around the motel - pots with beautiful flowers, plastic Adirondack chairs for relaxing outside. The motel is pet friendly, so you might hear a couple of barks in the night if a dog is next to you. The staff was friendly and helpful. Also make sure to bring your own shampoo and conditioner as it wasn't provided. Enjoyed our one night there.

The rooms were clean upon arrival, staff was nice, beach location was exceptional and very private, sunrise and watching the moonrise was beautiful, the only complaint would be the rooms wasn't cleaned everyday and towels wasn't restocked in the room but the view made up for it.

I stayed one night between other legs of my trip and this was wonderful - a low key beach experience including a beautiful sunrise on a quiet beach. The motel has a great vibe with a sandy parking lot, plastic adironack chairs and picnic tables outside the rooms. It is in a mostly residential area although there is a small restaurant next door that appeared to have some limited live music on that Friday evening. Staff was very welcoming and helped with local information and early check out. The beach is right across the street (25mph) and very easy access. Again a very quiet area - of course I was not there during mid day or high season but it was just what I was looking for - a good prayer hour sunrise on the beach. I would definitely come again!!
