Vacation stop

Was a bare as bones room, but was extremely comfortable bed. Great price for what we needed. Will definitely stay again when in area. Staff was very nice and pleasant. Extremely nice price. Easy to locate right off interstate.

Basic, but cleaner than other cheap places

It was basic, but clean. The owners are old and can come across rude but it's fine, at least it's clean. I was uneasy at first because I had not heard the best things about this location and its safety, but they're doing a good job on the renovations, and it's very affordable.

Staff was friendly, price was great, exterior lighting was greatly appreciated, and the bathroom was in good condition overall. Bed sheets, comforter, and bath vanity had stains and cigarette burn marks on them. The main room could use a fresh coat of paint (to make the overall feel cleaner) and fresh sheets, bedding, and towels would elevate the entire experience.

Express what?

Good stay, new owners have done well with remodeling it and making it look nice. Slept good. Place was quieter than expected which is always a plus. The $65 a night is way too high of a cost for a room with no amenities at all.. Just basic everything. Except no ice machine!!! And a microwave outside for community use. where they do that at?? EXPRESS INN. Surprisingly no bugs! So thanks for that

You get what you pay for.

You get what you pay for! Neighborhood seemed nice but the hotel area was sketchy. People loitering around outside lobby and once we went to bed (around 11 pm) men were yelling and it just seemed scary. Sheets were clean, water was hot, beds were comfortable, it was just the atmosphere that was not good.

It had the amenities of a prison cell. No chair, the only light came from two overly bright ceiling fixtures. No ice machine available. Not a single place to hang clothes. (no "door-hooks", coat hanger bar etc.) "Non-smoking" room stunk of cig. smoke. I would leave the door open as long as I could upon arriving each day in an attempt to "air-it-out". No carpet and floor was sticky. Do NOT walk around bare-footed ! On the "good" side, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom had new fixtures, and the "help" was pleasant, although English is obviously NOT their primary language. Needless to say this is on my "NEVER-Stay-there-Again" list even if the price was free!

The hotel was not safe to stay in. Crackheads were hanging out around the placel, and there were a lot of waste bags outside. I sought a refund and then left the room. That hotel room was filthy disgusting with large bugs crawling around it; there was blood on the couch, mold on the walls, and it smelled awful, as if something had died.
