Cute Cottage, Pet Friendly- near public beach

Near the beach. In a quite wooded area. This cottage is located behind a bigger home at same address. It is centrally located on the island. Not on stilts, so only a few steps. You can walk to the beach, or drive to a public beach. See pics.
It has a king size bed, one bath w/ standing shower, kitchen, dining area open to living area. Living area has couch and loveseat.
Dining table w/4 chairs. Dishes, pots and pans, linens, towels all furnished. Central heat/air. WIFI, 2-TVs(living room tv is a Roku), DVD, 12 cup coffee maker, microwave, range/oven, refrigerator all furnished. 2 ceiling fans and a small fan is also provided.
smoke and CO2 detectors. There are several DVDs, books, puzzles, and board games available. Sand chairs, umbrellas and 2 beach towels are furnished.
Pet friendly, dog towels and blankets furnished. A dog bed is available. There is a outside charcoal grill. There is a shared yard(no secured fence). Use like a private dog park, no leash required, clean up after pets.
No smoking inside, you may smoke on deck outside.
Dauphin Island has an app and various Facebook pages, that will help you find almost anything.

Wonderful stay on Dauphin Island

The cottage was very clean and comfortable as always! It’s close to everything on the island and perfect for a couple on a weekend or weeklong vacation. It’s a lovely property and Angela is wonderful as well!

Our week at Dauphin Island was a blast! Loved the cottage, it was perfect for my partner and I. It was very clean and sufficiently stocked with basic things we needed. I would recommend this cottage to anyone needing a place to stay on the island!

Great Cottage!

We loved the cottage! It was perfect for what we needed! It is located in a great spot close to the beaches and restaraunts. We were able to bring our dog and she loved it! They even provided doggie blankets! This was a perfect stay and we will come back in the future!

Great Little Cottage

This little place was conveniently located to the beach and restaurants. It's nothing fancy, but who wants to spend their time indoors wgen you're at beach. Very quienmt and loved it was pet friebdky. Would book again.

Loved the inside of the cottage. Everything worked and and was clean. Kitchen fully stocked with what we needed. Loved we could bring our small dog. Outside was a little green and moldly - alot of leaves, but it was still winter. Didn't bother us. Quiet neighborhood, close to beach and stores. Perfect. Thank you.

Quiet peaceful cottage

We had an enjoyable stay at this tiny cottage. The cottage had everything we needed for a perfect week stay at the beach. It was close to everything located on Dauphin Island. The neighborhood was quiet, and we felt safe while staying there. Anything we needed for our stay was there. We would recommend this location to anyone looking for a tranquil place to lay your head after a long day at the beach.

This little gem has everything you need. Also great if you’re traveling with a dog. There’s a fenced in yard! The bed was really comfortable and lots of attention to detail in terms of little necessities.

Had a great 4 days. Quite neighborhood, fenced yard for ZuZu and right in the center of everything. Angela and hub Marshall are some good christian folks. We’ll be back.

Cozy, clean, comfortable bed and living room, air conditioner worked great! Stocked with everything you need. Pet friendly. Not a good view, but close to beach, airport. We brought and rode our bikes everywhere. Love Dauphin Island. Thanks for a comfortable place to sleep.

Pet friendly cottage

Communication with host was excellent as was the check in and out process. The shower had great pressure and plenty of hot water. The location is beautiful with a magnolia tree, pine tree and wisteria in full bloom hanging over the fence (which is in need of repair—stated in listing). It was easy walking distance to the beach—approximately 0.5 miles to the middle beach parking lot and another 0.4 miles to the water’s edge. It is a quiet neighborhood. The floor had not been swept well prior to us arriving as there was dog hair (we did not have a dog) when I swept. The deck is wonderful even though the patio furniture is well worn but comfortable. We had planned to use the electric fire place on one of the cooler days but it had previously overheated and the plug was partially melted. The host immediately responded saying she would check it out after we left. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Property was great needed new door locks. Couldn’t get keys to work properly. But was quiet and peaceful. Deck could use a good Dewalt blower to clean leaves in the fall. 😂 but was great overall!
