Welcome to Coastal Gratitude, your dream home away from home on the beach of Dauphin Island. Our family has provided everything you need for a vacation to remember. Breathtaking sunrises, sunsets, sugar sand, waves, and sun are all here to make beautiful memories!

This is our family beach home. We take great pride in sharing it with you and your family. This home is privately owned. The owner is not responsible for any accidents that occur to the guests or their property while at the house.
No pets allowed. No smoking. Quiet time is from 9 pm until 7 am. Only registered guests can spend the night and the maximum is 10 people.

One of if not the best rental I’ve ever vacationed at. Communication was top notch. The house was stunning and had pretty much every item you could need. Enjoyed so much that I know already looking at when we can come back. If you are looking at place to truly relax this is it!

Great place to stay

It was very spacious and beautifully decorated just like you would expect a beach house to be. Lots of Kitchen amenities. Lots of towels. The beds were very comfortable.

Pre-Christmas family vacation

Beautiful home with lots of room to be together or apart, inside or outside. Beach is lovely. Saw lots of sea birds and dolphins.

Great Home On The Beach!

The house and hosts were fantastic. The pictures were amazing exactly what we found upon arrival. If you are looking for a laid back beach retreat without all of the Destin road and beach traffic, then this is the perfect place.

Great location!

It is perfect for a family gathering. Location is excellent! Booking and checking in/out was easy. It has a great stocked kitchen for anything you might want or need. Emily was very attentive with any questions we had and responded quickly.

Great vacation

Didn’t realize there were houses so close behind that would set up tents for the day right beside us. However, they were good “neighbors “. Great place to stay. Spent a lot of time on the deck and under the house on the rainy days. Wonderful place to stay!

Wonderful!

Coastal Gratitude was all that we could have hoped for. The property is immaculate and spacious, well outfitted, with a great location. We loved the proximity to the beach (just steps out the door), the well outfitted kitchen, and the number of bedrooms and baths. The bunk room was a hit with our 1- and 3- year olds!! There are several areas to lounge and chat, in the house and one the spacious deck. We had a great stay and seriously hope to return one day.

Gorgeous beach stay

Honestly could not ask for a better house for our beach vacation! The owners absolutely saved our baby moon and were so helpful with anything needed. The house was spotless and directly on the west end/gulf side of Dauphin...so nice to have coffee on the patio each morning and our own soft beach to relax on. We will absolutely be back for future trips to the island!

Large family getaway- great views, comfy space, great location!

Our stay at the Coastal Gratitude house was 5 stars in all ways! It was a quiet beach spot with comfortable accommodations. Our family of 9 enjoyed the stay on Dauphin Island and adventured to Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. We enjoyed coming "home" to a comfortable spot where we could swim and play on the beach while enjoying the great views! The house is spacious and is set up well. It accommodated our needs for a 5 day stay!

Great getaway!

The check in process was simple. The property was clean and updated. We loved the simplicity of being able to walk right out the door to the beach. My favorite part was that you can hear the waves from every room of the house which made for a great nights sleep. Also, so many stars in the night sky!!! Would definitely stay again.

Property was very clean and well maintained. Literally had everything we needed and extra items that made our visit great (hammock, shaded area for play, and outdoor shower to rinse sand). Plenty of space for our group of seven. Loved that it was right on the beach. We saw several dolphins! Thank you for making our family vacation to Dauphin Island so special!

Perfect Vacation

The house was everything we had anticipated. The A/C went out our first day, but a quick call and someone was there within 30 minutes to get us cooling again. The kitchen had everything, beach towels, comfortable beds and a deck with a view. We even had an outdoor shower which was perfect to clean the sand off us. We have been telling everyone how wonderful it was and they should book it too! The best beach vacation we ever had!!!

Relaxing Family Getaway

This place is literally a hop and skip to the water. No jump needed. This is what we were looking for. We can hang out on the porch but still be near everyone playing in the water. One thing that doesn’t get mentioned is the great area under the deck and house that has awesome sand and tons of shade. Our kids loved playing down there. The owner had amazing communication and I absolutely recommend this property.

Wonderful trip!

We had an amazing trip to Dauphin Island. Our kids had a blast and the house was conveniently located so we didn't have the hassle of lugging items a long distance to enjoy the beach. Emily and Amy were wonderful host and provide you with everything you need. When we realized there werent any trash bags, they had them waiting for us at the door, the very next morning. It was perfect and we highly recommend. We would love to come back to Dauphin Island!

Perfect beach vacation

The house was clean, kitchen had everything we needed and we watched every sunrise and sunset from the deck. It’s so nice to walk down the deck steps and be right on the beach. I suggest you bring most of your groceries and drinks. There is a small grocery store on the island and a Dollar General about 7 miles away. We enjoyed the pickleball courts by the golf course. We took the ferry over to Fort Morgan and drove to Flora-Bama bar. I love this beach house and Dauphin Island. We hope we will have the opportunity to return again.

Perfect Getaway

The home was just beautiful and so clean. Loved being a few feet from the water. The neighborhood was quiet and low keyed. Just what we were looking for. The only issue we had were the cooking pots and pans. They were all teflone and were so scratched up we went and bought a few to cook with. They really need to be replaced. Everything else was perfect. I would highly recommend this lovely home. Thank you for sharing it!!

Perfect Vacation Stay

We thouroghly enjoyed our stay at Coastal Gratitude! The check in was easy and prompt. The house was lovely and just as described. It was just steps from the beautiful beach. We enjoyed our morning coffee and evening cocktails out on the spacious deck that offered plenty of seating for all 9 of us. I liked that the living room as well as the master bedroom opended directly onto the deck. There was plenty of beach chairs and toys for adults and kids. The only problem we had was our trash can was taken after the first day. Emily went above and beyond to come and pick up our trash herself. What a incredible host! We will definitely try to reserve this house for our next visit to DI.

Wonderful House!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!! The house was perfect and spotless. We had no need for beach umbrellas or a beach wagon. If we felt like we needed some shade, we just moved back under the house. We brought beach toys for our daughter, but we were pleasantly surprised to see everything she needed to play in the sand already there! There were so many sea shells, we brought home a bucket full. The beach was quiet with few other visitors, so that was nice too! The only thing that I would change was the washing machine left some detergent residue, so I had to do an extra rinse each time. The house also needs a cheese grater. Other than that, this is the perfect house for relaxation and seclusion. We would definitely stay here again!
