"We often visit but this was our first stay. Was disappointing that accommodation was on a difficult piece of land away from the restaurant and cultural heritage museum. Was too much effort early mornings to trek kms away for our paid breakfast so we didn't have any. Couldn't shower as all showers are outside (too cold to venture outside) and bath water didn't heat up. Furniture needs tlc. Headboard in main room was not clean. No microwave

"What an incredible home.. we had one of the best holidays in a very long time. The house is stunning in every way! We could quite happily have stayed there all day everyday. The pool is fabulous and the house overall had everything you could possibly need. Rochelle is a wonderful host who went above and beyond to make our stay special. So many thoughtful touches from toiletries to condiments to sun hats. Would highly recommend .. we would go back tomorrow if we could. "We arrived late at the property after a 6 hour drive, the owner refused to open the door, told us she had no booking, despite us having booked and paid through expedia. We were turned away with no where to stay at night with no phone data to find another place to stay. A terrible experience. The place appears very much to just be the owners house rather than a proper guest house. "
