Very hospitable hosts and a great place to stay. Rooms still need a bit more work but they are getting there. The food in the restaurant was excellent. We will be back.

Great location If you are visiting to see the Kai Iwi Lakes as it is close by. Bach nice and warm during the night, spacious lounge/ dining area and comfortable futon that could be used as an extra bed. Good oven with fully equiped kitchen. Downside would be the misleading listing. There is no bbq, ...

Great Northern Wairoa golf club. Friendly members who made us feel very welcome.
Didn't get time to look around other than going to the Kauri Museum. The myseum was fantastic.
