One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Service is excellent. Gold club room and lounge worth of every penny. Location directly onto the Bund with lots of shopping nearby. Would recommend to anyone looking for upmarket hotel in Shanghai and will certainly be back. Thank you to all the very helpful staff.

Excellent location and room size. Being connected to a mall that has most of what we needed is most helpful and convenient. The mall is well-maintained with a good mix of upmarket tenants as well as food. The subway station was also connected to the mall.
The hotel has a common living room with a coffee machine which was comfortable and especially useful if someone in the room needed a place to work separately. As the living room was accessed using a room key card, the space felt private and safe.
We found hair on the floor when we checked in so cleanliness can be improved. Some signs of wear and tear but it’s not unexpected given the age of the place. The hotel could also been more generous with towels.
The staff at the desk and breakfast were very helpful and efficient. My daughter enjoyed the breakfast.
Overall, we would choose to stay here again.

"I was disappointed with my given room as it had many wear and tears, room wasn’t so clean. Not at all Conrad like. However I got an upgrade and my stay was perfect. Very helpful staff, especially Howard and Parsen at the concierge."
