"Area is very industrial, however walking distance to really nice restaurants & bars. Location near airport, & motorway, so great for convenience but be prepared for noise. Good location - 20 minute drive to town centre and beaches. Hotel property condition is tired, in need of some tlc. Rooms were adequate. Hotel staff very polite, helpful and friendly. "The ocean view makes up for any shortcomings, however the shower hose is awkard and only gives a relatively low pressure. There's an accessible lift to avoid the steps if you have a pushchair, wheelchair or heavy luggage but noone expains that this in in the basement area so you end up lifting heavy luggage up steps and slopes. Lovely pots have no plants in, so creates a neglected first impression and there's no bedside tables. "

"This does appear to have once been a grand hotel, but it has since been neglected. While the entrance area and staircase still look impressive, the room was in poor repair, with a dated 1980s/90s feel. However, it was spacious, with a Nespresso coffee machine and two BBC English channels. The breakfast room was grim and the food average. Overall, too expensive for the poor quality. The hotel desperately needs money spending on it."
