"We were staying for 2 nights. Our room had probably slightly more than a 1/4 of a toilet paper roll upon us getting into the room.
Had to call multiple times to get the AC looked at.
No one ever came to assist with our backs upon check out. Called 2x."
"We didn’t like having cloth furniture in the rooms. The bed was nice but very lop sided. The pool was VERY cold and the hot tub was warm. We ate at the restaurant twice and 5 of us had dinner. It seems that most of the dinner items come frozen so it was a difficult choice since none of us like frozen dinners. We were told many item come frozen and not prepared by a chef or cook. Such as the fried chicken, salmon and others. Breakfast was not so good. We had the Denver omelettes that did not look like an omelet. Very few pieces of ham, onions and bell peppers. More like scrambled eggs in a clump. The hash browns were very poor. They were like reconstituted frozen hash burns that were so undercooked. The waitress was nice and efficient. This place is really beautiful and have nice rooms but the food has a lot to be desired. And best of all is it’s so close to Death Valley entrance."
"Use the resort as a base, the rooms are fine for that purpose. We used the The Last Kind Words Saloon - very friendly staff. Food is fine, beers were good. "
"The history here is incredible. Really beautiful and isolated hotel about 35-45m drive from major spots in Death Valley. We took a tour of the Opera House and hotel with Tammy who was incredible. Really loved the look and feel of the hotel."

"This place was AMAZING! Best rental I have ever stayed in. Everything was absolutely perfect. The beds had various types of pillows (soft, firm) which I thought was a nice touch. If I am ever in the area again, I would love to stay again. Beautiful and comfortable. "
