"The kids and the adults had a lot of fun at the cabin. There was plenty of room and games inside to keep us entertained while it rained. We had everything we needed and the stay was smooth."

"A great pine cabin on a nice lake on a quiet street. This was our 2nd stay for my husbands birthday with our adult kids. It's a large house with a sunroom and large deck and great bar area with a tv and dart board. We are too small of a family to live that big in the house and take advantage of all it has to offer, but have had a great time both times. "A very nice cabin. Well built and laid out nicely for guests. Such a nice deck out back. Enjoyed our stay. It is close to nearby restaurants and stores. Lake is very weedy so no swimming. Some fish seen but not caught. A fun time."

"The lake and beach is beautiful. Our grandkids visited for 4 days and they spent hours playing around in the sand. Grand kids were able to see the numerous deer in the neighborhood. The cottage itself was well supplied. The drawback to the cottage is having the bathroom in the basement. There is no handrail on the basement steps, which makes traveling to the basement a bit of a safety issue. Overall though it is a very nice cottage in a good location"

"Our stay was amazing, the place was perfect and the property manager was absolutely amazing to work with. He was very helpful with any questions we had and the check in process was very easy due to his great communication! We were supposed to be snowmobiling but Mother Nature didn’t allow that so he was extremely helpful in helping us with other ideas and things to do in the area. We brought out ATV’s instead and it was a great time with lots of fun trails close by. Thank you, Sean!!"

"This is probably the best stocked VRBO I've ever stayed at--I brought all sorts of kitchenware only to have more than enough equipment inside. The house was clean and well kept. Two things to be aware of: -Its enormously BUGGY. It's on Wilderness Road so not surprising but bring lots of big spray and a a fogger. -The bed in the guest bedroom is not that uncomfortable but it squeaks like nothing I've heard before. May benefit from some WD40. But ultimately this is one of the best stats I've...

"We wanted a quiet and off the grid week getaway. We stayed the 1st week in October. The trees had full beautiful autumn colors and there was a smell of fall in the air. We enjoyed several evening bonfires. Bonfire 🔥"

"My husband and I stayed with our two labradors. We enjoyed walking the road to the Shoal boat launch then following the trail along the shoreline. The dogs had a quick chilly swim! The trail just off the backyard is beautiful too! We watched the deer browse as we had our morning coffee. There was a day spent shopping in Spooner for local sweatshirts and woodsy decor. "We were very pleased with the log cabin . The wood interior was beautiful and very clean. The kitchen appliances were all quite new as well as the furniture. Very much enjoyed the gas fireplace as a touch of warmth during 2 days when the weather was rainy, cool, and windy. A very wet May season resulted in a lot of mosquitoes, but the screen porch was helpful to still enjoy the spring season."

"We were looking for a relaxing space with lake cabin vibes for a weekend visiting family, this space was just that. We didnt use the pool table, but its a nice accompanyment for the rainy days. If nothing else, book this place for mornings in the screened in porch."

"We loved the property! The upper level was amazing for dining and hanging out. We spent lots of time on the beautiful deck and we used the awning. The pontoon was a huge hit and we fished and swam off the dock. We only used one of the fire pits, but really enjoyed it. The bunk house was used by two of us and was a lovely addition. The basement bedrooms were beautiful and all the beds were great! The hosts were very communicative and helpful. I will be booking this property again!"

"Love the location, ATV trails are close, and plenty of room for families. We will be renting it again! Only thing that was a draw back was - no wash or dry to use. One of the kids got sick and was hard to clean up."
