"This hotel has always been a special place for us. We spent our honeymoon here over 40 years ago (when it was the Greenleaf Horel) and have come back periodically through the years. The remodel into The Lorenzo turned this place into one of the most eclectic and interesting places we have ever stayed. Every where you look or investigate has something fascinating to see. The neighborhood isn’t great but $8 for an Uber gets you right to The West End in minutes (well worth the cost so you don’t have to find a parking place). We had another great stay in our usual spacious corner king room overlooking downtown. Beautiful views at night."

"Everything was great. Only issue was they state the pool opens at 7am but really its like 715 to 730. Oh and i wish the pool didn't close so early at 10pm. At least 11pm if not 12am. "

"This is a beautiful hotel in an excellent location!! The attached restaurants are very good, the staff is very friendly. However, the room configuration is extremely strange with the bathroom essentially subdivided by a hallway. There’s no privacy, including a beveled door for the toilet lol not sure who thought that was a good idea?! Also, the pool is incredibly small. Perhaps I should’ve known that, but from the pictures, it looks dramatically different."
