"The promo for this hotel on Expedia was very misleading. We wanted to stay on or near Vaxholm. This hotel ad claims to be right near Vaxholm but it is nowhere near it, unless maybe you have private transportation We paid for the room at a non refundable rate . It is hard to get to Vaxholm from this hotel without a car. We therefore could not stay at the hotel. In fact, we immediately realized that as soon as we made the reservation and called the hotel and contacted Expedia but Expedia said...
"The rooms were clean and spacious. The beds were a dream to sleep on! The bar/restaurant had a nice vibe and good drinks. The breakfast was delicious and had so many options! "

Excellent daily breakfast, walkable to public transportation, beautiful scenery, right on the water, tons of areas to relax outside and the coffee/ espresso machines were a welcomed surprise!!!!Johanna at the front desk was the best. "We were greeted with...we don't have room for you.....they found a space at Nynashamn Campground in a cabin on the coast.....50 to 60 kms from Stockholm . A train pass cost an extra 350€ so we could visit Stockholm for 2 days. We got up at 4a to drive to Stockholm to catch a 7.30a ferry Fri. The staff at Nynashamn Campground did all they could to make our stay better."

"We had a wonderful time in Sweden! We chose this house because of the pictures on VRBO and it is also near Stockholm. The house and views are beautiful! We were able to take advantage of the hot tub, roof top deck, and grill/deck area. We also stayed during Midsummer, without realizing this house is within walking distance to a festival at Tyreso Palace. The host, Annelie, is wonderful. She answered messages quickly and gave us a lot of information about the area and things to do. "
