"A peaceful and relaxing simple retreat. Old style ryokan with tatami mats etc. We used the men only onsen and were basically alone in there. It was very clean and hot. Perfect. Also they offered complimentary coffee, tea and ramen cup. They provided everything we needed for using the baths. "

We arrived on New Year’s Eve and couldn’t find any restaurants open, but the owner helped us by drawing a handwritten map and explaining everything clearly — it was really thoughtful. > > The room was clean, tidy, and very comfortable, with a classic Western–Japanese style.
