The Big Little Cabin - Hot Tub - Playground

Located on a quiet country road in Lumpkin County, this charming cabin offers a peaceful, pet friendly (pet fee applies) escape just minutes from the best of North Georgia. You’ll be less than five miles from 8 popular wineries and wedding venues, less than 20 minutes from Cleveland, and about 25 minutes to Helen—making it the perfect home base for a weekend getaway or a relaxing retreat.

Surrounded by nature on a private seven-acre tract, the cabin delivers a truly serene setting. Just a quarter mile down the road, White Dog Farm offers horseback riding lessons, while nearby trails lead to waterfalls, scenic overlooks, and endless outdoor adventure. Prefer to stay in? Unwind by the fire pit, soak in the hot tub, or enjoy a hot cup of coffee on the front porch.

Rustic charm meets comfort with hardwood floors and knotty pine finishes throughout. The cabin features two queen beds, one of which has a trundle underneath for additional sleeping. The open living space is cooled by a ductless wall unit (sufficient for the cabin) and ceiling fans, and heated with the same unit plus a cozy propane fireplace.

Guests have full access to the cabin and surrounding property. The playground and field area are shared with the neighboring cabin on the property (also available to rent), while the dog pen is private.
The cabins are about 300 feet apart via the walking trail through the woods, or about 500 feet if you prefer to drive.
We’re available if needed but otherwise give you space to enjoy your stay.

Same-day bookers: Do not book for the current night without confirming the unit is available and ready for check-in.
Long stays: If your stay is longer than 10 days, extra fees may apply. Please inquire before booking.

Now for the “not so fun” part:
•There is an exterior camera facing the parking area.
• Pets are allowed with our pet fee of $70 plus tax for the first pet, and $70 plus tax for each additional pet. If you`ve added pets to your reservation, one pet fee will be included and we will manually charge for additional pets after booking.
• This property does not require a damage deposit, but we do offer a damage protection policy. More info can be found at the end of the listing description.
• We provide trash bags, 1 roll of paper towels, starter toilet paper, bar soap, hand soap, and plenty of towels and linens.
• We offer firewood available on-site to purchase for $10 per bundle (including tax). We can also arrange a delivery of 50 pieces for $60 (including tax) if you let us know 7 days before your stay. Please message us if you are interested.
• The gas to the fireplace is turned off from April 15 to October 1.
• We have a charcoal grill, but we do not provide charcoal.
• Check-in is at 4 p.m. and checkout is at 10 a.m. Early check-ins are possible, but subject to availability and a $20 per hour fee, rounded to the nearest hour. Late checkouts are generally not available, but if we are able to make an exception, the fee is $20 per hour.
•There is a $27 damage protection waiver included in the base rate for this property. It covers guests for up to $500 in accidental damages if the guest reports damage that happens during their stay. Intentional damage, unreported damage, or anything exceeding $500 will be charged to the guest`s payment method.
• The address will be sent to you at the time of your booking, and your check-in information will be sent to you two days out from your stay.

Although we have a strict cancellation policy, we offer travelers insurance and damage protection policies through Generali Global Assistance if you are worried you may have to cancel your trip for any reason or would like peace of mind regarding accidental damage. Note: These insurance options are sent manually after booking if requested by message and are not included in the booking total.

No music, loud noise, or sound-amplifying equipment outside between the hours of 10:00pm and 8:00am, and noise must be kept to a reasonable level at all times.

No smoking within 50 feet of the cabin.

No pets without a pet fee. If it is found that guests brought a pet/pets without disclosing them, the guest will be subject to a $150 fee on top of the pet fees for the number of pets brought.

Guests causing excessive noise or disturbances, including, but not limited to, underage drinking, partying, drug use, and exceeding max occupancy, will be asked to check out immediately and full stay rent charge will be due including deposit amount with NO REFUNDS.

Guests who leave the place excessively dirty will be subject to additional cleaning fee. Examples of excessively dirty are stains on the floors and walls, pots and pans left unwashed in the sink, and trash left on the floor and outside.

Any guest that checks in early without written permission may result in a $50 per hour fee.

Any checkout after 10:00 am without written permission may result in a $50 fee.

Any checkout more than 2 hours after check out will result in a fee for the entire daily rate, without any discounts, and guests will still not have rights to the property.

Any guests checking out late that cause us to refund the next guests are subject to reimburse us for that amount, on top of the fees previously stated.
