Relax on beautiful Lake Michigan - 5 minutes from town!

"I can’t say enough about both the host, Jerry, and his house! Check in and out were easy, communication was great as well. He made us feel right at home! The price is very reasonable considering you get a clean, well appointed, pet friendly house, gorgeous lake view with seating and fire pits, a secure fenced in backyard as well as a hot tub on the deck. I’m happy to say that the gas barbecue grill was spotless and the kitchen was clean and well stocked. Oh, did I mention that Jerry also owns the restaurant right next door?!?! The wood fired pizza is amazing and we loved the fish fry as well! Most of all, we were well cared for by the amazing staff!!! We enjoyed every aspect of our stay! Thank you, Jerry!!!"

"Very nice property in and out. Clean. Well stocked. Very peaceful and relaxing sitting by the river listening to the rapids under the bridge. Easy day trip to Pictured Rocks and short drive into town. Plenty of parks close by and walking trails along the shore. Caught some really big smallies was an added plus. All the popular streaming apps available on the TV. Perfect space for the 2 of us and our small dog."

"We went for a weekend of crafting. The table size was PERFECT! We were able to spread out and there was still room for eating. The proximity to the water was great, we could hear the waves and see the water from everywhere in the common areas and master bedroom."

"Awesome Lodge for a family reunion. We had guests from ages - 2 years to 90 years! The property is jaw-dropping .. situated with the river in back and a huge pond in front. The river was at a historic high: 17 feet above flood stage. What a sight. The description of the property on VRBO is spot on. The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable as was the living room with ample space and seating for all. Very pleased with the accommodations. Made every meal in the well-appointed kitchen. MOST THOUGHTFUL TOUCH is individual temperature control in each room. That came in handy. Just a note: Navigation will not bring you directly to property. We all went past it and got a tad bit lost. * Only negatives were the huge garage smelled like cigarette smoke and we were unable to use because a few of our guests had asthma/were allergic to the smell. I think we were some of the first spring visitors, so there were dead lady bugs and the windows needed to be cleaned around the frames for cobwebs, dead bugs and leaves. WE WOULD DEFINITELY RENT THIS LODGE AGAIN. It is so beautiful and the layout is fantastic for a big group. Many thanks for having us. A"
