Jung and his wife were lovely hosts who welcomed us, showed us a map so we could get our bearings and even offered suggested activities for the day so that we would be able to experience all the sights and experiences. We rented the entire home and found it be spacious, comfortable and clean. It was such a unique experience to stay in a traditional hanok-style home. "The hotel is in a convenient location, close to Yeongildae Beach and Yeongildae Pavilion. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes along Haean-ro, making it easy to explore the area. The room was clean and decent overall, and the hotel offers underground parking, which is a nice bonus.
One highlight is that the Do Not Disturb café is located right at ground level. However, we didn’t find out about the discount for hotel guests until the last day, as the notice was written only in Korean. The café staff mentioned it when we were checking out, which was a bit disappointing—we would have appreciated knowing earlier.
The only downsides were that the lighting in the room was quite dim, and the air conditioning vent blows directly onto the beds, making it uncomfortably cold at night. It would be much better if both the lighting and airflow could be adjusted."
