Happy in Hoi An

Because the hotel is small and locally owned, one gets a better feel for the country. Staff super friendly and a couple would engage in long conversation about Vietnam, but also wanted to know what life is like in one's own country. They also took time to figure out what each individual wanted from their stay and then offered recommendations.

Lovely family driven place

We enjoyed 4 nights at Hoi An Garden Villas. Lovely little family-driven place. Nice pool, good breakfast and with Nah the best host we had here in Vietnam. She organized cooking classes and bus ride for us. Both with pick up directly at the hotel. The old town is a short bicycle ride away (bicycle free of charge). We would come again

This property is a short taxi ride from Old town and walking distance to some dining options. The staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and provide us with great recommendations for dining, sightseeing and shopping. They provide free bicycles which we used to visit Old Town and An Bang beach, all within a 15 minute ride. Great place for families as the staff is very attentive to children. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place if you’d like to visit Hoi An in a tranquil environment.

We can’t speak highly enough about this place. Na is so helpful and welcoming. Breakfast is terrific and the poolside villa was very clean and roomy. Would highly recommend. A taxi ride into the old town.

Lovely little hotel, had a family atmosphere. The manager Na is just lovely, so helpful and attentive. No big buffet breakfast like big chain hotels, small menu but everything made freshly for you and the food was great. The hotel is a bit far away to walk to the ancient town but taxi's and Grab's were easy to get and cheap. Nice little restaurant and a mini mart at the end of the street which was helpful. The rooms and bathrooms are big and comfortable. Laundry is very cheap to get done too.

This property is good for the price we paid. Staff were lovely including with our children. Note though if you are booking with kids there are friendly dogs on the property (in case your kids have issues with dogs). While it is a 20 or so minute walk to the Old Town it is a nice walk or a quick taxi if you are in the heat of the day. There are little cafes, restaurants and mini markets near this property which is handy. Breakfast is basic but nice and a good start to the day. It is a quiet location.

We enjoyed the Hoi An Garden Villas so much, that we extended our stay by a few days! The rooms are clean, spacious and quiet. It was great having a cool down splash in the pool when needed. The owner and workers are extremely helpful and accommodating. Na was absolutely phenomenal in helping us with directions, making recommendations, and booking us transportation and tours at our request. She is amazing! The location is great as it is a 5-10 minute bicycle ride to the Old Town and there are also numerous great restaurants and activities within walking distance from the Villas. Bicycles are free to use (we cycled around a lot), and a delicious breakfast is also included! We highly recommend this place.

From the moment I arrived, the warmth and hospitality of the staff, Mrs Na, made my stay in Hoi An truly memorable. Her dedication to ensuring guests have a seamless and enjoyable experience was evident in every interaction. She was not only a helpful concierge but also a local culinary guide, providing invaluable tips on the best food spots in town. Her recommendations led me to some of the most delightful dining experiences I've had in Vietnam. Moreover, Mrs Na provided assistance with arranging transportation, managing taxi bookings, giving info regarding tickets for local attractions greatly enhanced my travel experience. I am grateful for her attention. Really enjoyed my bicycle rides provided by the Hotel and the pool was a great plus. Breakfast and room were great too! I will come back!

Not Recommended – Very Disappointing Stay This hotel was a huge letdown. The pictures online are completely misleading—the place is old, poorly maintained, and far from what was advertised. The pool was dirty, and the pump never seemed to be working. Our room was in terrible condition: • We found a massive spider (about 20 cm in diameter) inside. • The shower was completely blocked, causing the entire bathroom to flood. • The room had a terrible, unbearable smell. To make things worse, the reception experience was extremely uncomfortable. The receptionist constantly asked intrusive questions every day: Where are you going? What did you do yesterday? When are you leaving? It felt more like an interrogation than a warm welcome, making our stay even more unpleasant. Overall, this was the worst experience we had in Hoi An. The hotel is outdated, dirty, and has terrible service. I would not recommend staying here.

Alt personalet er ualmindeligt gæstfri, hjælpsomme og behagelige. Især vores receptionist var helt fantastisk og gav os en masse gode råd og forslag til vores ophold. Hun hjalp os også med at booke dagsture og transport til lufthavnen, som var det en selvfølge. Aldrig har vi haft så god en oplevelse med hotel personale, og vi synes ellers, at standarden er høj i Vietnam! Værelserne er lækre og poolen er lige ude foran ens dør. Nok det bedste sted vi har boet!

Super séjour à Hoi An. Les chambres étaient propres et spacieuses. Superbe piscine pour les fins de journée. Le petit déjeuner servi par nos hotes sont très bien. Notre hôtesse Na est d’une grande gentillesse et nous a conseillé et réservé les différentes activités comme le snorkeling, le chauffeur qui nous a fait le guide pour faire des haltes à des différents lieux touristiques.

Fabuleux séjour à Hoï an

La résidence dispose de 10 chambres, toutes avec vue sur la piscine, elle est située dans un quartier calme à 1,8km du centre de la vielle ville de Hoi an. Le prêt de vélos est une bonne option. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et varié La piscine est agréable, les chambres sont spacieuses et bien équipées . Le personnel est vraiment très sympathique et professionnel. Un grand merci à Na pour la réactivité et l'organisation de mes transferts et de mes excursions malgré mes demandes de dernière minute. Pour mon prochain séjour à Hoï an, je residerais à nouveau au Hoï an garden villas.
