Great hotel and super friendly team

Lovely people running the hotel super friendly and great advice. Nice pool area and lovely lanterns in the evening. The only issue we had was room had a damp smell but we opened to air as much as we could to improve it. Good breakfast, absolutely enjoyed our stay here.

Amazing stay in Hoi An! Staff is amazing, helpful, and extremely nice! Away from the craziness of Hoi An Ancient Town but still walking distance on the other side of the river. 10/10 recommend.

Great Hotel. Staff are very kind and helpful. They offer extended services like discount taxi arrangements, laundry service, in-room massage, late check out. Will consider staying here again. Free bicycle rental was also great. The only downside I found was since room water heater tank is small, it is very hard to fill bath tub with hot water.

We loved our stay at the Gem Riverside. The property was in a great location on a quiet street. It was only a 5minute walk to the old town. The room was massive with a comfy bed. The highlight for us was the pool - it was fantastic. It was very clean & had a shallow and deep end. We would definitely come back!

Stayed at the hotel 3 years ago, before Covid19 where it got top marks, the hotel needs now an upgrade. pity to see so few rooms occupied in the hotel. We will of course stay at the Gem Riverside Hotel, next time we visit Hoi An

Ruby was the most fabulous and gracious host ! We were treated so special! She took breakfast orders the night before to ensure our breakfast could be served before our tours! The money exchange at the hotel was great! The view of the river was beautiful and the pool was clean and refreshing! The room was very clean and spacious! There was bottled water left for us daily ! The hotel was easily walkable to the night market and to Hoi A memories! We walked to many restaurants and shops! Would highly recommend Gem Riverside hotel! The hotel and staff , especially Ruby were truly gems!

Room had some dead bugs, a live spider, and aome ants. Room got really hot during the day because you cant keep AC going at a decent temperature unless you are in the room. Hotel staff was great and friendly and the area is nice

Gem Riverside is a beautiful hotel with an outdoor/indoor shower and clean spacious room. I love the location that it’s away from the noisy streets and vendors. From the moment we checked in, Ruby went over and beyond to help make our stay the best. I lost my passport at the airport and she called the airport and was able to track my passport, made reservations with new drivers since we had problems with our hired driver, and after we checked out she is even in contact with us to arrange for excursions and drivers. Ruby you have made our family trip to Vietnam 10 times better with your honesty and kindness.

I stayed here for four nights in a room with a balcony overlooking the pool. Comfortable bed, excellent shower, efficient quiet aircon and good WiFi. A basic breakfast is available every morning, with a limited selection of western options, including eggs cooked to order. I chose this hotel because it is in a quiet location 10 minutes walk from the town, so it was disappointing that there is currently building work next door, with loud noise from 7am on three of the four mornings I was staying at the hotel. The net curtains over the windows in my room were very dirty at the bottom, and they could really do with a wash. These shortcomings can be mostly overlooked because the people are very friendly and the staff on reception were very helpful for booking trips and transport.

Unfortunately, I did not spend a lot of time in this hotel. Vietjet Air moved my original flight from 11:30 AM to 7:30 PM. Tried to change it back but the people are pretty rude and don’t speak good English and the flight was also delayed and so I got to the hotel at 11:00 PM and since the hotel is fullly booked they cannot accommodate me for a late checkout so I can visit Hoi An city before my trip to Da Nang. It’s not their fault. I blame Vietjet Air.
