Exceptional service and beautiful rooms

Wonderful stay in An Bang with a truly remarkable, caring host. It’s rare to find such attentive service and thorough housekeeping! Well functioning WiFi and ac. Breakfast has several options, served on your front porch. Highly recommend the passion fruit juice. Rooms are large, beautifully furnished, well lit, with plenty of outlets. Extra high ceilings make it feel bigger than it is. We stayed in a family suite and the only downside was the bathroom, as the shower was in the middle without a divider - perhaps this isn’t the case with all rooms. There was little ventilation and smelled a little moldy. The hot water worked though! Unless you are basing hotel decisions on the bathroom, you’ll be fine. Everything in An Bang is close enough with the complimentary bikes. Seems to be enough bikes for every guest, so you don’t have to worry about people taking them before you are ready. Condition of bikes are slightly rusty with squeaky breaks - but pretty typical for what we have found in all of Hoi An.

Wonderful and unique experience in Hoi An!

We arrived late in the evening after a very long day of flights, just as a typhoon was bearing down on the coast, and we had no way to go out and get food, so owner Kim was amazing and cooked us a meal! Throughout our stay, Kim was always available to help us get a taxi, recommend and arrange tours and cooking classes, etc. Rooms are very spacious, bright and clean. Also included is bottled water, hair dryer, fridge, shampoo, and daily housekeeping. Washroom has shower that is open to the other fixtures, so having your own sandals is recommended so you don't slip on wet floor when you need to use the toilet or sink. There are 5 guest rooms -- 2 on main floor and 3 on upper level accessible by outdoor stairs. There are bikes available to borrow. Easy walk to local beaches. Hoi An Old Town is 7 minute drive away (not really walkable). Many options offered for breakfast, but you must make your choice the night before, so the owner can shop in the morning for fresh ingredients. A couple of things to note: Beds are quite hard, but apparently this is the norm for this part of the world. There are roosters next door who will wake you up at 5 am (maybe a little earlier than that), so bring ear plugs if you like to sleep in. We were well taken care of by Kim and her family, and we had lots of fun. We highly recommend staying here for something a little different, with a personal touch!

This was a traditional, welcoming and very homely accommodation with the best host ever! From the moment we arrived, to the day we left, we very much enjoyed our stay at An Bang Stilt House. We loved our home cooked meals, the convenience of ready-next-day laundry service, local breakfast options, being able to take free bicycles and get to the beach and market nearby. Kim even has a filtered tap water dispenser so you always have clean water to drink and refill your bottles with. It's a short taxi ride to Hoi An Old Town too. Super lovely host and family that really took care of us during our time with them in Hoi An. Thank you Kim!

A place to come back

Staying at An Bang Stilt Home war a great experience for us (2 adults, 2 teenagers 16 & 13). The house was fantastic, our room very nice and the host was extraordinary! There were bikes available (free of charge) and the beach is very nice and quite close. Kim, the host gave us many hints and tips and help us organising some activities and transfers. She cooked dinner for us the last day. It was delicious!

Quiet peaceful villa! Family run!

Lovely family run villa. They supplied a banh mi and drinks and fruit so we could leave extra early to go to monkey mountain and allowed us to check in extremely early and late as they didn't have another booking. Bit out of town but grab a bike to go to the beach or moped into town! Lovely area.
