"Best part of this hotel is location- can’t be beat- Friendship Heights metro stop is across the street!! The room was huge with a separate sitting area w microwave, little fridge, couch, and door that separated it from the bedroom. Bedroom was also huge. Pillows were soft and perfect. Room was tired and needed a facelift, but it’s not a big deal. Breakfast was fine. Staff was nice. Trader Joe’s is literally below the hotel which was super convenient. They also gave complimentary vouchers for a nightly happy hour (we didn’t go, but that was a nice perk). We ate one nights at Lia’s (4 min walk)- delicious Italian food- highly recommend!"

However, I was given the wrong room, I booked a King got 2 double beds. I overlooked it only because I just wanted a place to sleep for the night. The room details said that it would be equipped with iron/ironing board but that was not the case. Thankfully, but not ideal, an iron was available upon request."

"ve stayed at this hotel before, and my previous experiences have always been very pleasant. From check-in to general support, the staff has consistently been friendly, helpful, and welcoming. During my most recent stay, the check-in experience was still positive—the front desk staff were polite and professional. However, the checkout experience was noticeably different. The staff at that time were not very friendly, and there was a lack of presence at the desk. Basic customer service and courtesy seemed to be missing. I also experienced issues with some of the amenities. The internet, which had worked well in the past, was very slow this time. Even streaming short YouTube videos was difficult, as they frequently buffered and stopped midway. Breakfast was another area that felt below expectations. The hot meal options were quite limited, with only a few items available and minimal variety. Overall, this stay felt average compared to my previous visits, which were much better. I hope the hotel can address these inconsistencies, as I know from experience that they are capable of providing a much higher standard of service."

She told me to take a room on the third floor, which was very difficult, as I have a gait disorder. There is no elevator. I was visiting an old friend who lives in the neighborhood and he brought me a space heater for the next two nights of my 3-night stay.
