"The rooms were huge! The staff was super nice and helpful and when we had problem with our room, we were offered a new one without asking. The sauna and steam room are pretty neat, but it would be great if there would be some kind of warm relaxing room within the sauna area. The breakfast was pretty good too! Even though I would love more cheese variation. All in all great hotel would definitely book it again! "

"We arrived late at night, actually it was more like early morning. Rio Amazonas is one of the few hotels that will let you check in that late. Check in was swift and we got a broom with a magnificent view over the city and Cotopaxi. The room was clean, the beds comfortable and the bathroom brand new and beautiful. Breakfast is fabulous and the staff is very friendly. Not sure about the neighborhood yet, but it looks fine. "
