Our stay here was complicated from the moment we arrived with no hot water or water pressure in our shower and our toilet overflowing when we flushed it, flood the whole bathroom. The staff did address the toilet issue immediately and fixed the problem. Someone came by to adjust the water pressure in the shower which essentially took it from a trickle to having a few more streams of water coming down into the shower. We had to run the water at least 10+ min for the hot water to come on and this often fluctuated during our showers from scalding hot to freezing cold. There is no heat or way to make the room temperature warmer. We cam at the end of May which is the beginning of Peru's winter, so the hotel/rooms were very cold at night when temperatures dropped into the 30s. We were offered a portable heater on our second to last night which we used between the two bedrooms that our room had and that at least helped us at night. The room itself had an extremely awkward layout that was not consistent with what we viewed online. There was one room with a massive bed (really just 2 twins put together) and another separate room with two twins. My friend took the room with the two twins and every time she had to use the bathroom, she had to come out of her room and walk around my bed to get there. Lastly, we were on the 1st floor and could hear absolutely everything from the outside "waiting" area since the walls were so thin making falling sleep challenging at night.
