Breakfast was awesome, they even asked if we wanted it packed if we had an early tour. Staff was excellent and very friendly. Only issues with the hotel was all sounds could be heard from inside the room. People walking/talking in the hallway, we could even hear dogs barking in an alley way behind the hotel. If you are a light sleeper be sure to pack ear plugs.

This is a gem in Cuzco. The staff is very, very helpful (and most of Cuzco people are really nice) The cleaning is excellent. The choices at breakfast is just as good. The room (one bed) had a big, big bed and more than enough blankets (actually we have the remove some of them because it wasn’t that cold and those blankets were heavy) we do have to ask for more pillows which they send them right away we also made a “mistake” of asking for a room heather which I was never use. This is one place that I would recommend to anybody. Just remember to choose a room away from the street so you won’t get the noise like we did. No surprise extra charges. I very pleasant place to stay.

The staff was so friendly and accommodating! Great service. The rooms were well-appointed, everything was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely as well. WiFi was consistent and hot water and water pressure were solid. The location is an easy 10-15 minute walk from pretty much anything you’d want to do, including the main square where a lot of tours drop off. Right next to San Pedro market as well. Would absolutely recommend staying here when you’re in Cusco!!

Very nice hotel in a good location, 100% recommend

I really like this hotel, I stayed in this same hotel 20 years ago in my honeymoon and now I came back with my two teenager daughters. They loved the room and the overall hotel atmosphere, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is also good, close to the market and a nice walk to the Plaza, the street may be a bit noisy but I think every street in Cusco is. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel to any type of traveler, solo, couples and families.

Fantastic stay - the staff are some of the nicest people we’ve met on our travels (and we’ve stayed 2 weeks in Colombia and now 1 week in Peru). The property is lovely and decorated in a traditional Peruvian style which is great. The bedroom we have is massive with a huge bed that could easily fit four people! They have also been very accommodating, giving us a packed breakfast at 4 am for our early Inca trail start, and storing our luggage for a day. 10/10 - highly recommend you stay!

A surpising gem

My family and I had a wonderful stay. Management was super attentive to any needs we had. The hotel has super cozy lounge areas w/hot teas, a wonderful breakfast of fresh fruits, eggs/omelets, great coffee and even fresh guacamole. The staff is so attentive that when you tell them you have an early morning excursion at 5am, they will even pack you a breakfast to take with! The location is only a 10-15 min easy walk to the main tourist plaza and offers great value for the money. Alert: when you arrive at the airport, the official taxis will to try to charge you 80 soles instead of 20 and there is no free airport wifi to call for an uber, so negociate hard with them)

The location of this hotel couldn’t be better - it is about 100m from the market square and the train station that takes you to Machu Pichu. The beds are comfortable (except the sofa bed which could do with a thicker mattress) and the breakfast is pretty decent. But it is the staff that make this place so good - the owner Juan is so helpful, arranging taxis and tours, looking after luggage while we were away for a night in Machu Pichu and giving advice on things to see and how to book train tickets etc, the early morning lady cooked eggs to order and makes a delicious fruit salad and the evening lady is super friendly and helpful. The only issue which marred the stay slightly was the laundry lady losing half a dozen items of our clothes and then stroppily informing us that we didn’t give them to her, before eventually finding them and having to sheepishly own up to misplacing them. Overall this is a great value for money hotel in a super location with an attentive owner who makes you feel very well looked after.
