"A very tastefully renovated in Art Deco style small hotel, centrally located within the town. A great restaurant with good choices and friendly staff. Breakfast was not included in room rate but very reasonably priced. Parking at rear of hotel is limited but council car park is directly across the lane and plentiful. Happy to recommend and will stay there again."

"A gently eccentric cottage with lots of space, intriguing outbuildings and a beautiful setting. The cottage has a well-fenced garden that our dog enjoyed exploring.There are winding walks of various lengths throughout the property. These are beautiful but can be steep.If you're coming in winter and feel the cold, bring a wrap. There is a fireplace but the bedroom is some distance from it.Sam and Luis are lovely hosts."

"Absolutely fantastic experience at Country Comfort Armidale. As someone who spends most nights of the year in hotel rooms, I can confidently say this place is right up there with the best. From the moment I arrived, everything was smooth and welcoming. The staff were friendly, professional, and genuinely attentive, making the whole stay effortless. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, providing exactly what you need after a long day on the road. To me, it’s the little things that matter. Good quality, soft towels, good quality bathroom soaps and shampoos, good quality coffee and tea and most importantly, cookies! Loved them 👌 It’s refreshing to find a place that consistently delivers such a high standard of service and comfort. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Country Comfort Armidale to anyone looking for a reliable and enjoyable stay. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m driving through town."
