I had to be booked in for 10.00 and the kitchen closed at 8.30 so had to go out and the bed was smelling of dampness and when I came back from eating out I had to phone for someone to let me in not ideal after driving almost 150 miles so I’m afraid I will not be using the Smithton hotel in the future ...

Got to love it when a place outdoes its photos online, this is one of them. My room felt like a little suite and was just a regular double. Beautiful tub that I of course did not use. Easy walk to shops and restaurants and pleasant lovely staff.
