Dog lovers, here is your vacation home!
Located in a small rural village, you will find, within 20 minutes to half an hour drive, all the stores you would want, from walmart to Home Depot to Starbuck, as well as good restaurants. Yet, back in the village, you are away from it all.
Touristic areas are near by for plenty to explore, but if you just want to stay put, the house is 6 minutes drive to the most peaceful and wonderful river spot. It has a water fall with an amazingly clean water pool to soak in, and lots of trails to walk leading back to the river bank. It is a family area for the locals, and was heaven for my three dogs and I. We were in paradise.
The home, which is very cute and quite spacious, is definitely an old farm house. Perfect for large parties, however, for one person, the price per night seemed high in relation to the confort offered, hence I could only give 4 stars. This being said, if you are looking for a real mexican experience in a community oriented village, this is it. Locals are welcoming and friendly, with enough of them speaking some English to help you get by. Plus, the host is a kind person, very accommodating and helpful in all ways.
