"My husband and I stayed 3 weeks at Jardin del Eden and it exceeded our expectations for location, food, service. All in a beautiful well laid out property. The rooms are simple and clean and the beds are good. Its also good to note that some of the rooms require climbing some stairs. It wasn't an issue for us. The rest of the resort is the highlight and by far the nicest, lushest resort in the area. Jardin del Eden staff is friendly and accommodating, the breakfast and dinner exceeded our expectations for variety and quality. We had a variety of meals for dinner that included chicken, beef tenderloin, fish, lobster, shrimp, pasta and salads. Everyday was different. The swimming pools were the perfect temperature and there is also a bar and dipping pool by the beach. The covered seating areas around the swimming pool and at the beach was plenty. The bonus at this resort was the complimentary daily yoga, sound healing and Pilates classes. Javiera, the main yoga instructor, is one of the best instructors I have experienced. Every morning she offered different yoga classes. My husband and I went every morning before breakfast. It was the best start to our day. Off the resort, the town of Tamarindo and the beach was wonderful and walkable. The water is warm and if you want to swim, jump waves or surf this is the beach. If you need more activity, there is also a tennis and pickleball club available down the street. Enjoy! "

"Beautiful property on a hill with infinity pool overseeing the ocean! All ocean view rooms, amazing breakfast each day and access to a great beach front club with gym, pool, beach. The club is however at a a different location than the main property and the hotel provides with hourly transport to and fro. The rooms are dated and bathrooma rather small and old. "

"The hotel room was spacious and clean. The property is clean, well-decorated, and we felt very safe. The staff was very friendly and appreciated a friendly conversation. Many of the staff recognized my partner and me and remembered our drink orders. The pool is absolutely beautiful and well-maintained, but we wish there were more pool chairs with umbrellas, as the sun is very intense. The beach is gorgeous with safe swimming access, which was a huge plus. The restaurants were great, but we were unsure about how to access the Nikoa restaurant and pool. We only stayed a week, and we thought that if we stayed longer, the food options would get old, which was why we were trying to figure out the other restaurants. The Nikoa pool and restaurant seemed like a super-nice, new part of the property that was hardly used at all. We also attended the free yoga classes on-site at the hotel, and the instructor was excellent. However, the hotel gym was old, dirty, and had no AC, which was crazy considering it's over 90 degrees every day. Overall, we would definitely stay at this hotel again. We felt we got a lot of value for what we paid!"

"In the heart of touristy Tamarindo , Coast Hotel offers a spot or solace. With direct access to beach it was a great place for a family with young children. Hotel does not have in house dining but breakfast is served to the room and there are plenty other options close by. Whether you are looking for a relaxing getaway or like the tourist vibes , this hotel is a perfect choice."

"3rd time to this resort. The Westin club rooms and pool area have improved but food selection and quality has slipped a bit. Premium liquor package did not include pinot Grigio and still a bit suspicious of alcohol content in the whisky I had; I never got a buzz! The concrete paths throughout the resort need a good cleaning and re-coating. Happy with our club level suite and room amenities. Dinner reservations are a bit of a game…club personnel made them for 4 days in advance when we arrived but after that had to use the app which was frustrating. It only works same same and have to log on at 8am. "
