"I had such a lovely stay at this cute little studio in Puerto Carrillo. The space was cozy, clean, and had everything I needed for a relaxing getaway. The real highlight was the shared pool—perfect for cooling off after a day at the beach or just lounging with a book. The neighborhood felt safe and peaceful, and it was just a short drive to Playa Carrillo, which is absolutely stunning. If you're looking for a quiet, charming spot to unwind, this is it!"

"Yes the host was fine. I'm not sure if he is new to renting a VRBO, but the condo itself had some issues. We did have some significant issues with the address to the unit., which took us hours to find in the dark with no street signs and no cell service. Some of the dishes in the cupboards had food particles on them. Pretty disgusting. They had to be rewashed before we could use them. There were not many cooking utensils in the drawer to cook with. "Everyone at the Westin was incredibly accommodating and made our stay truly memorable. Some of the restaurants require same-day reservations, which can be difficult to secure, but the restaurant captains, Ivan Elizando and Sady, went above and beyond to help us book reservations at three different restaurants. We also had wonderful experiences with our drivers, Brian and Mario, who were friendly and professional throughout our stay. The aqua fitness class led by Eduardo and Samuel was energetic, engaging, and a lot of fun. Ernesto, who checked us in upon arrival, took the time to thoroughly explain the resort’s activities, amenities, and everything we needed to know to make the most of our vacation. We’d also like to recognize several outstanding staff members for their exceptional service: Alonso Vasquez and Jeremi at Mitra Market, Denis Reyes from Mitra who served at the dessert bar, and Christian from Cauri. Each of them was attentive, welcoming, and helped make every meal enjoyable. The Westin is exceptionally family-friendly, offering a wide variety of activities such as a silent disco, coffee tasting, Kids Club, painting classes, and multiple pools, ensuring there’s something for everyone. Overall, my family had an amazing experience, and we would absolutely recommend the Westin to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation."

"Very nice and cute little hotel. Pool is beautiful, you can step into it right after leave the room. There are ocean view rooms too in front of a quiet beach. Few minutes drive from the center of Tamarindo. Staffs are nice and helpful, one gentleman helped my son to find the iguana. Breakfast was delivered to my door upon the time I requested.I had really good time in this hotel."

"Lovely, cozy, very centrally located in Taramindo. A five minute walk out of the property directly into town. Be prepared to pay tourist prices for anything you purchase outside of the resort. Clean, and well maintained property. The on-property restaurant la Plumeria, was fantastic! The menu varied nightly and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The only negative I have was where our rooms were located. The room itself was fine, but the first floor location right off of the main path, was neither scenic nor ideal. When we asked the front desk if we could be moved to a higher floor with a more scenic view - which is what we expected based on our room choices when booking- we were told there were no vacancies. Also, the rooms we booked together were located on opposite ends of the property! My advice for anyone traveling there would be to check with the hotel prior to your arrival to ensure your rooms meet your expectations."

"We had a great stay! The property was well-maintained, and it was a luxury to have a private pool within the villa. It was quite a walk to the beach, but that also ensured our privacy. We had surprise encounters with beautiful wildlife like raccoons, crabs, monkeys and snakes. Yoga with Andrea was amazing! The daily buffet breakfast was excellent."
