"First time I had visited Jackson. Interesting city with a variety of things to do for a 3 day visit. All of the people I met were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated down at the Mississippi showgrounds. It was a 15 minute walk up to the city centre (or a $7 dollar Uber). The room allocated was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast provided by the hotel was satisfactory. All of the staff were very friendly, helpful and able to provide advice on local places to visit. I had booked the hotel specifically on the basis of the advertised outdoor pool. On arrival I was advised that the pool was closed for maintenance. In the 3 days at the hotel I didn’t see anyone working on the pool.☹️ The guest washing machine wasn’t working but the staff washed and dried my clothes for me. Many thanks.👍😊 If I was ever to return to Jackson I would stay at the hotel again. Many thanks."
