Boats can be launched at the Fort Island Trail Boat Ramp, located approximately 2 miles from the home. From there, you can easily navigate to the property and secure your boat to the floating dock during your stay. Blue Heron House offers direct canal access to Crystal River, which leads to the Gulf of America approximately 7 miles down the river. There is plenty of space onsite for trailer parking.

Note: Please use caution during low tide. Water levels in the canal can drop significantly depending on the tide cycle, which may make navigation difficult for some vessels. We recommend checking local tide charts before planning your boating activities and proceeding slowly, especially when entering or leaving the canal.
