Entire Home with Lake Access - Cozy Cove at Manitou

"Highly recommend this cute cozy lake house. It definitely lived up to its name. Loved the location, very clean, tastefully decorated, it had everything we needed! Loved the coffee maker/ keurig. Comfy bed. Nice back deck with a large fire pit. Kara was awesome to deal with. Would definitely stay again when in Michigan!"

"This house is amazing! It had enough bedrooms for a group of 13 adults. The heated indoor pool was actually comfortably warm the whole time and its a good size for a large group. One end is about 8ft deep. There were a lot of floaties, a basketball hoop, and pool balls. There is also a sensor on the door that chimes when it opens, which would be a nice safety feature for a group with kids. It was probably the cleanest rental home we have stayed at. The kitchen is well stocked with dinnerware, cookware, flatware, and other things you might need (citrus juicer, wine opener, etc.). There are multiple communal rooms that are great for large groups, including the dining table which probably seats 20. There are houses nearby, but the house is mostly surrounded by trees, so it feels very private; you won't see neighbors until you drive out on the road.There is a decent grocery store and gas stations within a 10 min drive. We also recommend kayak rentals at Tecumseh Paddling Company (about 30 mins away). Our group stayed at the Fort Recovery house (same owners as this house) and we have had a great experience both times. I highly recommend both houses, but especially this one because there's much more to do in the area. Thank you for a great stay!"

"The cottage was open,airy and newly remodeled.The bedrooms were fresh and the linens were soft and comfortable.Everything we needed for preparing meals was available.A special touch was a bottle of wine and snacks..The host was very helpful with last minute questions and prompt responses.Our entire family (adults and teens) were comfortable and enjoyed paddle-boarding. The little pups enjoyed walking the area.We found the neighbors to be friendly and welcoming. All and all a wonderful lake vacation was had by all..."
